「夕方空港に着き、旅がレンタカー移動のため、翌日の動きの取れやすい、Ｍ９（日本の高速道路規格）の町にに近い町のホテルにしました。 当日、町でパレードがあり、前の道路が時間により通行止めになることを、事前にメールで連絡してくれました。 まて、駐車場のゲートが、指定された番号に携帯電話をかけるだけで開くことも、事前にメールで連絡してくれとても助かりました。 本当に親切な対応でした。 建物は歴史ある建物で、古いですが、改装された部屋は広く、快適でした。 キッチンなあり、必要なものは全て揃っておりました。 冷蔵庫には、翌朝の朝食用の卵が入っていました。 パンだけでなく、果物も用意されていました。 自分で朝食を作るのですが、IHのキッチンはとても使いやすかったです。 建物の入口や部屋は全てカードキーなので、アーリーチェックアウトも可能で、そのための、簡易なカード回収ボックスまで置いてありました。」

「The pods themselves are great. Very spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Did encounter an issue with the heating upon arrival. POD was so hot inside the surfaces were too hot to touch. Never had this happen before. Calls to office and emergency line were not answered. Had to drive around looking for someone and a nice staff, Kirsten, at the event facility helped me. Finally had to disconnect heating completely from pod. Unfortunately had to stay in the pod all night with the doors...

「Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner instantly to show us around and how to control the Hottub, lighting's etc in this accommodation. (Helped alot) Great wee Pod and very quiet as this is away from major roads. We had no issues,except the accommodations Speakers, there was nothing to show how to connect to them. (Not really an issue but would have been a nice addition). The Biscuits were 2x months past they're BBE, so they wete really spft but i still ate them! Haha」

「Working over Christmas we booked this break to get away from all the madness. Just us and the dog. Thimblewynd was just perfect and we loved it. Peaceful and comfy throughout we chilled out in front of thr log burner or in the hot tub, the tv wasn't on once! We eat at the Kirkstyle Inn which was lovely but made ourselves breakfast and snacks in the well equipped kitchen. There was not a single thing we could fault and we loved every minute. Thanks to Maggie for hosting us. 」

「I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. 「The house was gorgeous and very comfortable. We did have to download an app to get a precise location which was unexpected, but easy enough to use. The beds were very comfortable and the location beautiful. If you are looking for a rural retreat in order to explore the beautiful scenery, it's a wonderful choice!
