Such a cute place to stay.
The accommodation was really well appointed with relatively easy access. The upstairs rooms were fabulous for the children accessed via narrow stairs. The downstairs sofa bed provided a comfortable sleep and easy access for my mother. The garden was brilliant. So much space to play and to sit outside enjoying some baguettes and pastries from the nearby bakery. Communication with the owner was easy and very prompt, with some helpful suggestions regarding Monet’s garden. We felt very at home during our stay. We were provided access to the garage which enabled us to keep the car off the narrow street and meant we could easily load and unload the car. A really lovely stop on our tour of France.

Gorgeous home and lovely property in the heart of a medieval village
This beautiful house and property sits in a lovely small medieval village that seems untouched by time. The central plaza—ringed by a continuous trellis of flowering vines—is only a two-minute walk from the house, and it contains the post office, the grocery store, and the boulongerie. A patisserie and a pharmacie are a short walk down the street. The house oozes charm, with its exposed woodwork, beautiful fireplace, and decor. Worth a special mention are the lovely tiered gardens with multiple seating areas, where you can really appreciate how beautiful the property is. The kitchen and bath are state-of-the-art modern, and house is kept at a comfortable temperature. The property owner, Laurence, is extremely responsive to questions and concerns. We loved our stay in the home and the town of Menilles. A+ rating from us.

Perfect Stop
Pretty simple little house. V clean and neat. We only stayed one night but Laurence the host was very agreeable and flexible with our timings. Clear and accurate information. The village is also worth an explore. Excellent local food of course. And a little cat came today bonjour .

Quaint house
10/10 in character 6/10 in functionality. It’s a beautiful setting in a beautiful town. Ambiance and charm abundant! Love the outdoor space except it needs some attention — during our August visit it looked quite neglected and brown. Kitchen was very functional and worked great for us (once we found the cutlery in the hidden drawer! (: ) except we couldn’t find mugs for coffee Some power outlets didn’t work. We missed wifi, though this was as represented. Difficult having the bathroom on a different floor than the sleeping spaces. Note to renters that some ceiling heights are very low, including over the stairs.

A lovely gite, located in a very quiet village , with no wifi or tv. Need a car although there is a boulangerie ( closed for our stay) and a local produce shop in the village.

something out of a storybook
Upon entering the yard from the street, we were thinking we might have stepped back in time. The yard and lovely home were enchanting! We wish we had been able to stay longer and enjoy it. The home has been tastefully remodeled in an eclectic style combining antique accents and modern conveniences. We loved it and enjoyed our stay very much!

Un lieu reposant et calme
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle maison, bien à l’écart de la route, dans un bel écrin de verdure. Elle est très confortable, avec une belle décoration. La literie est bonne. On peut également profiter d’un beau jardin et d’une terrasse. La maison est située au cœur du village avec des commerces de proximité et un marché le dimanche matin. Nous avons profité de tous les charmes de cette belle région.

Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans la maison. Elle est calme, superbement bien agencée, nous avons adoré la déco, on s’y sent bien. La maison est d’une propreté irréprochable avec une bonne literie. Des housses de propretés sur les oreillers, matelas, couette. Le jardin est très agréable, bien entretenu. Je recommande à 100 % cet hébergement. La maison est très agréable : rénovée, propre et décorée avec goût. Elle est très bien équipée, tout le nécessaire est à disposition.
