"We really enjoyed our first stay here, unfortunately it was noisy due to the building work and it would have been nice to know about before. I knew the parking was going to be difficult but I think a warning if you have a tall vehicle as mine isn’t that tall but I did find it unsettling due to the beams which I had to navigate around and through to park. We did have an issue with a TV but the staff were fantastic and resolved it quickly. "

Lift being out and both of us disabled being on the 7th floor was very hard but admittedly the very nice guy on the desk did warn us. "I know that Marriott encourage associates to greet guests with an appropriate greeting but I didn't really appreciate the young man that checked us in greeting me with "Hiya Mate". I am 61 and I was raised in Manchester. I think that is just plain rude. Staff in the Great Room were not attentive or switched on. "Loved our stay! Hotel is in a perfect location for shopping, eating out and sight seeing. I was with my daughter and having never stayed in a Hotel One before we were really impressed. The reception staff were friendly and as a room was available we could check in early which was great. The room was clean, functional, comfy and quiet at night. The only negative we could find wad that there was no rubbish bin in the room apart from in the bathroom, but it wasn't an issue. We will be back."
