"We had high expectations of our stay at the chateau. Unfortunately we were not allowed to check in. The reservation, which I had prepaid, was not honored. We were told by the reception people they don’t work with Expedia/hofels.com. And therefore cannot let us in. This has never happened to me before. Such a big property and they kick us if? I still can’t believe. I’m not struggling to get a refund. The property would not even send a simple message to the booking website. Or to me. Complete...

"Room was fairly basic, but clean. Everything (outlets, fridge, TV etc.) worked. Breakfast was great. Pool and garden very peaceful. One annoyance: hall lights are on a timer that turns off before I could reach my room. Altogether very nice. I’ll likely return the next time I travel to Meknes."

"Our family of four stayed one brief night in Riad Meknes as a stopover during a drive from Tangier to Merzouga. While we didn’t have too much time in Meknès or the riad itself, we did enjoy both the town and riad. "Pros : Nice Riad - has been renovated meticulously and beautifully . Nice roof top view. Staff -very nice , helpful and polite . Clean , spacious , windows overlook central atrium ( no outside windows - authentic riad ) Cons: Not like a hotel - so even though front desk services are supposed to be from 7 - 11, it’s hit or miss if reception will answer your call . 3 min walk to riad from car through a stone w from "

"They charged me more than I had already paid through the app. The staff were rude. There is no parking space available as advertised on their website. Moreover, considering the room is small and overcrowded, there is nothing that justify the experience. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone." "

"The property is located on the side of the main road, easy drop off and pick up, did not feel welcome when we arrived, and staff was not present. The property should be a good choice for people who are looking for local style accommodation, absolutely can not be compared to real hotel, flies bugs everywhere, hair on the floor and blanket, overall, just for different experience. Breakfast only offer one boiled egg per person, plus few different kinds of bread, coffee was very disappointing. "

"Nice hotel in Ville Nouvelle close to the train station. They couldn't find my Expedia booking initially which was problematic but eventually found it after about ten minutes. But overall I was very pleased with the hotel and the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. "
