This hotel was brand new when we stayed, and it was very nice! The hotel manager was easy to reach by (local) phone, and we did not have a problem arranging for our somewhat late check-in, around 9:30 or 10pm. We stayed in a twin/double room for about a week, and found it very comfortable. The only downside was the bar or club on the block that played music very loudly all night. It might be better if your room is on another side of the building or higher than the 2nd floor. We slept with earplugs, which was fine for us! There was some confusion for us about how to pay (we selected the "pay later" option on Expedia, which then told us that the hotel only accepted cash). I think we would have been able to pay with card, but we had already gotten the necessary amount of Birr for our stay, and they accepted that without problem. The young woman and young man who serve as wait staff and cooks were very nice, and worked across the language barrier with little difficulty.
