"This truly is an exceptional chalet. We spent a wonderful and memorable week here. Such a quiet, rural location with gorgeous views of the surrounding mountains! "Stunning area, loads to do. Great value property. We drove over to see the Tour de France, apparently some years it comes right past the house but not this year unfortunately. Bar/ restaurant up the road did great home cooked food for two nights we were here that Kate organised for us for two courses for twelve euros which was great value too. We will be back!"

The owners were friendly and helpful on arrival and the house is a real home from home and extremely well stocked both in terms of the kitchen/store cupboard and also games (table tennis and pool) and music ( loved the CD player and large eclectic CD collection. "We enjoyed the private terrace looking out through the pine trees to the village below and beyond to the Vercors ridge. We walked from the chalet up to the ridge and other great walks just a short drive away. We saw lots of interesting flowers in the area (11 species of orchids, gentians and fantastic alpine flowers), as well as marmots, ibex and alpine birds. We ate every breakfast and supper on the terrace, enjoying the morning sun and the evening shade with setting sun lighting the far side...

"From booking the chalet to arriving communication with the host has been great. We've been to chamrousse before and love it especially the chalets with there perfect location just off the slopes. Although the chalet guard didn't speak much English we checked in with out any problems at all. The chalet its self is well equipped and comfy. Would be a squeeze for 6 people but do able. It was perfect for the two of us especially because I had planned our engagement. Hence a holiday to remember."
