You can not ask for better views and the home owner went above and beyond for us when we ran into probelms with our travel plans and she allowed us to extend our stay by two nights. "What a wonderful place to spend 7 days & nights. Done a fair bit of driving through the Fjords over a couple of trips and the road up to Urke and our final destination takes some beating. Amazing place. An added bonus was getting out onto the Fjord on the boat that comes with wth cottage. Thank you Thorunn for all your help and advice which all added to making it an unforgettable few days."

"The pictures set some high expectations, but the location was even more amazing. There is a cabin behind this one, but no one is close on the front, so the views are wonderful and the area feels very private. The cabin itself is very spacious, with high ceilings upstairs and a lot of sleeping options. Great outdoor seating on the porch, and a charcoal grill. The town is super small, but only a short walk away and there’s a great local pub right on the water."

"This house is the perfect location if you want to get away from it all. The proprietors were unbelievably hospitable and kind. It is not unusual to be awakened by sheep bleating, along with their bells. The view is stunning, and because of the latitude, you get to see it very late and early in the day. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher. If possible, I would definitely like to go back."

"I had a lot of difficulty contacting the host just to get our checkin details the day of arrival. They didn't answer messages and the number listed was to a car rental, which made me think at first it was a scam. They didn't respond until after I had contacted VRBO customer service, and they apologized because they don't get many listings on VRBO. We got there fine and were able to get in, but the place hadn't been cleaned in awhile, huge dust bunnies. Also weird things like the clean laundry...
