PH Hostel Manchester NQ1
3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (69)
"Great location. Private room was great (no frills but very cute decor) aside from needing to pay extra for a towel (towel costs £4 but is large and plush). I don't recommend anyone who is a light sleeper to stay here though. Weekends are loud with music from local bars, and even Monday and Tuesday nights there were drunk bar goers being loud in the street until about 2am. It's totally safe though, and other than that, a perfect location and very comfortable. "

"Very clean, beautiful hotel room. Very spacious, comfortable bed. Turn down service was unexpected but a nice touch. Nice extra touches - bath salts and snacks. Decor of the room and hotel was gorgeous throughout. Breakfast was well set out and delicious. We had a drink in the Refuge bar too, which is stunning and relaxing. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and polite especially Sharon at Reception- fantastic customer service. Can’t fault anything- absolutely fabulous hotel. "

The hotel literally overlooks the bowl and there are so many of Manchesters best places to see, restaurants, bars etc within 10-15 minutes including the science and history museum across from the hotel. The room we stayed in was huge and super clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. "

"Brilliant hotel, always stay there when we’re visiting family and friends in the area. Visited are usually 2-3 times a year. Only consideration would be to include breakfast in the stay price as it’s a high end hotel so to have to pay for breakfast as an extra seems uncompetitive "
