Quiet Luxury Juniper Springs Lodge Ski In/Out #230 sleeps 6 A/C

This non-smoking, no-pet, luxury Juniper Springs Lodge condo is a quiet second-floor unit with amazing courtyard views of the ski mountain. It has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, comfortably sleeping 6 adult guests. One bedroom has a king bed (sleeps 2), while the guest bedroom has a twin XL over queen bunk bed (sleeps 3). The spacious living room has a queen sleeper sofa (sleeps 2), a stone gas fireplace, and a large-screen HDTV. There are spectacular views from the living room and the large balcony porch. One-car parking is included in the building’s heated underground garage with direct elevator access.

It is just steps from Eagle Lodge and the Eagle Chair. On the inside, you will find the creature comforts of home including a gas fireplace, microwave oven, dishwasher, iron/ironing board, high-speed internet, flat screen TV, Direct TV, VCR, DVD, and more. Laundry facilities are only steps away.

For summer rentals there are 2 10,000 BTU portable A/C units in the condo connected to in-wall vents.

Sitting slopeside on Mammoth Mountain's southern rise, Juniper Springs Lodge is the High Sierra getaway you have always dreamed of. Adjacent to the Eagle Express six-passenger chair lift, it presents a quiet air of sophistication while at the same time standing strong as a rugged, yet distinctive Mammoth landmark. The architecture is dramatic and romantic, its scale and styling subtle and in harmony with its surroundings. Upon arrival, you will pass through the grand, multi-story lobby into the Hearth Room. With its timber-beamed ceiling and massive rock fireplace, it is the ideal place to meet family and friends at the end of the day.

Condé Nast Traveler selected Juniper Springs Lodge as one of the premier ski-in/ski-out resort properties in the country (with 150 runs)., and our 2-bedroom condo is a great option for a weekend or week-long getaway. All the amenities you'd expect from a top-notch resort are here: a large outdoor swimming pool heated to 86 degrees year-round, three hot tubs, two barbecues, a game room, a business center, fitness center, and underground parking (which is an incredibly nice perk, especially after a full-blown Sierra powder dump!).

Skiers and boarders will enjoy the convenience of purchasing lift tickets on-site at guest registration (located in the main lobby), and the free seasonal shuttle runs every 30 minutes during ski season making traveling into town, the Village, Main Lodge, or Canyon Lodge an effortless affair.

Beyond the abundance of outdoor activities -- golfing, hiking, fishing, biking, horseback riding, cycling, kayaking, tubing, canoeing, hot air ballooning, etc. -- the town of Mammoth offers a nice medley of restaurants that run the gamut from casual fun to fine dining. Ultra-hip boutiques and day spas can be found in the Village and on Main Street.

Mammoth also has a growing arts and cultural scene with performing arts, live music, and arts & crafts festivals throughout the year.

And finally, there’s incredible nature to explore, such as Mammoth Hot Springs, Devils Post pile, Horseshoe Lake, Owens Valley River, San Joaquin River, Lake Crowley, Mt. Whitney, Yosemite, Mono Lake, Death Valley, ancient bristle pine cone forest, a western ghost town, fish hatchery and more!

So easy to Eagle
Very short walk to Eagle lodge and lift. Easy to come back to the condo for lunch and head back out. Had a great time staying here with my teenage boys and friends. Hot tubs after boarding for the day were nice.

Nice and fairly priced
The unit was clean and well maintained. It was spacious. It was perfectly located next to Eagle if you are a skier. The kitchen utensils were a little scarce but that was minor. It was easy to access and the owner was very responsive. I would stay there again for sure.

Juniper Springs Unit 230
Fabulous weekend in Mammoth. Condo is in perfect location and close to hiking trails and lakes. We appreciated a kitchen fully stocked, bathrooms were clean with nice fixtures. It would be wonderful if the second bedroom had a queen bed instead of two twin beds.

Clean cozy condo right next to Eagle
Nice 2 bed 2 bath condo with full kitchen and living room. Nice patio is completely filled with snow drifts! So much snow!!! Covered heated parking is great, as are the elevators for loading and unloading!! Short walk to chair 15. I would recommend this place. Also Gil was very attentive and quick to respond.

best location
The proximity to the slopes of this property is amazing. We could be in a lift line within 5 minutes of leaving our room. Our adult daughter could work in the room and take one-hour breaks on the slopes, which would have been impossible almost anywhere else. We had a dishwasher issue, but Ricardo was quick and competent in fixing it. I would stay here again.

Liked: Listing accuracy
Great location, but
Whoever photographed this property should win an award. The unit is clean but could use a facelift. Positives: Clean enough though corona virus scare necessitated a thorough disinfecting of the unit. Also—and a huge positive for me— we could control bedroom temperature so that we could make it cooler than 70 degrees Owner is extremely responsive Cannot beat the location

Decent place- seemed unprepared for guests
So this little condo would have been great if it had been properly prepared for renters. However, first, the heat didn’t really work very well, and when we called the property manager, he turned it up to 90 in all the rooms, so much that we were uncomfortably hot and really couldn’t sleep (so stuffy!) Second, there was no coffee the first morning, and while the property manager did come refill the morning supplies basket, When we discovered there was no pepper and texted him about it, he stopped responding to our texts. Like I said, cute property; really needs to work out some kinks in the management.

Overall a good experience.
My family has rented many condos at various locations including Mammoth for many years through VRBO. I have never had a bad experience but obviously some are better than others. This one is best described as good but doesn't exceed any expectations by any stretch and I'll explain why. First the price I felt is very fair considering the following: You are literally RIGHT next to the chair lift. It was a large but clean and quiet complex. The three hot tubs were nice after a day on the slopes and the underground parking was nice to have. The beds in the unit were comfortable and the appliances worked well. The only minor downsides were this: The fireplace, which was gas and had an electric blower to supply the heat to the main part of the unit did not work. Fortunately since we were on the second floor it stayed fairly warm. In the past when I have booked condo's they have more of a homey feel with plenty of dishes, classes, cups etc. and even a random supply of things like plastic wrap, Ziploc bags, coffee filters, salt and pepper often left behind by previous renters. I shouldn't complain because this is not something to expect, however be warned. Bring EVERYTHING you need because there is only a minimal supply of items meaning cookware. There were exactly three drinking glasses in the unit for four people. You can only bring plastic cups to the pool and there were none in the unit. The only additional types of items available were some packets of sugar and parmesan cheese swiped from a restaurant and left on the counter. Again I would book this again considering the locale and the price but if you are looking for that extra special place, this is not the one.

Great stay!
Clean, comfortable place. Pro's: King bed was beyond comfortable! Nice linens. Quite clean for a rental. There were many upgrades in furnishings and in the kitchen, that are not shown on website pictures, which was a nice surprise. Con's: we specifically chose this place due to the advertised a/c units. We know it gets hot in the summer. Unfortunately, the portable a/c units put out so much heat when turned on, that the cold air coming out doesn't work well enough. Lighting; too dark with not enough light bulbs installed. Management was quick to respond. Overall, this was a great stay. We love Mammoth and all it has to offer!

Great condo with extras in Mammoth!
Perfect condo for summer or winter! We stayed in the summer and loved the pool and 2 spas outside (1 spa was out of service). The portable air conditioners were amazing! Kept the condo cool during the day time, and then we could open windows at night. Kitchen was well supplied, but could use a few more plates and bowls (there were only 6 of each) so you could have more than 1 meal before running the dishwasher. Plenty of pots, pans, etc. Extra bath towels were supplied as well which was a plus! Owner answered questions right away. Easy entry and parking. Condo was great for our family of 4. Would highly recommend, and look forward to staying here again!

Nice stay , Great location
Property is located in the heart of Mammoth and renters can use their pool as well as gym . Only downside - no towels in unit for pool and hotel will not supply them . Bring a can opener and a corkscrew ! Other than that it was a comfortable , quiet , affordable and fun stay !

Next to ski slopes/Eagle base lodge
Compact and well-appointed unit with nice dining table (for family games!) and pretty view to quiet courtyard. It is on lower level so heard unit above walking. The ski locker was bigger than expected and the best aspect was ski slope proximity.
