"Quite frankly, I can't really remember this hotel, so it must have been satisfactory. We were in Italy, Austria, and Germany for 13 nights; during that time, we stayed in 6 different hotels. We stayed in the Castello for one night (the 8th day of our trip) and we were so tired that two of us did not even go to dinner but to bed instead. If we had had problems or if it had stood out as something special, we would have remembered. So it must have had clean and comfortable beds, an acceptable...

"We stayed in the Blue Suite and the room was amazing, we loved it; especially the view and the hot tub on the balcony! The hotel was quiet and clean, breakfast was great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall, it was an excellent stay and the perfect way to celebrate my partner's 50th Birthday. It was also very convenient for the Unipol Arena. I would absolutely stay here again."

"We stayed here to be outside downtown Bologna. Very nice place — great for weddings which was happening. They had a great onsite restaurant as well. It catered not only to hotel guests but also the locals. Our food and service were great. They had on site parking for free too — underground garage. The hotel staff was very friendly as well. Good stay. "

Don’t miss the Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca: get the train from the main square! Staff at the hotel were superb and very helpful."

"The location was fantastic. On the edge of the historic centre and only a short walk from Piazza Maggiore. The bed was excellent and the room was spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant opposite the hotel was great and really reasonably priced. The breakfast was good and the staff each morning were very attentive. Although it could do with more cereal and fruit options. Our only gripes with the room were that it was constantly too warm for us (even when the radiators...

"Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of the historical district very close to all the major sites. Incredibly friendly staff who were accommodating and kind. Would recommend to anyone staying in the area."

"Loved this hotel and it was a fantastic location but there was a noise coming from the heating/ air con vent whether it was on or not. It got so loud sometimes that it impacted my sleep. I was offered an alternative room but that had the same issue. I’d stay again in a heartbeat if the noise issue was resolved. "
