Unit 61 was private, quiet, large queen bed (nice linens and great mattress & pillows), murphy bed and kitchen area with full size gas stove, microwave, and small but functional fridge & freezer. A window air conditioner in the bedroom cooled the whole unit--as cold as you would ever want! The locked, covered deck with ceiling fan with pali and jungle view was a delight. The resort is on a quiet residential street. Don't be put off by the hens & chicks that welcome you; just expect to be awakened by the rooster.

The property itself has seen better days, and needs upgrades. But the views are priceless. I stayed at the 31st floor with Mountain view. This building is in a high topographic point, making it taller than the buildings between itself and Manoa Valley, and providing an unobstructed view of the valley. Watching sunrise and sunset from the balcony was breathtaking.
The unit I stayed was vintage and clean, the kitchen was equipped with the necessary pots and pans for cooking, and sets of dishes for 6 people. Housekeeping came every 3 days and could be scheduled if needed sooner. Each floor has a laundry room and trash shoot. The laundry machines are $1.75 each and use either coins or an app.
The parking garage attacked to the building is paid separate ($25/day). The bottom 3 floors get filled quite fast and the upper 2 floors are always empty. Since clearance is tight in the garage, I preferred to park at the upper levels that were always empty. Plus, I was always able to secure a space close to the elevators.
