"The staff is extremely attentive. I needed help using the washer and dryers very early in the morning, but the gentleman at the front desk took special care to drop what he was doing and aid me in getting my laundry completed properly. He was a life saver! They keep this place immaculately clean and orderly. If you’re thinking of booking, don’t think twice, just do it."

"The staff were super friendly and helpful ! Great service and drinks from the bar. However the listing showed that our room had a private bathroom which it did not in reality. Further the pillows are super flat and lack comfort. Would definitely stay again if these are improved ! "

"small but well designed hostel with excellent location. everything works except….noisy guests there is no enforcement of noise in the bunks, its a typical problem with many non-japanese guests who stay in groups (not solo). they talk loudly (couples or groups taking single bunks) totally oblivious to all the rest of people sleeping. yes, and they use the hair dryer at midnight, and thats not all…"

"Considering the price point and location, our stay was excellent. Having read previous reviews I was scared of lack of cleanliness. However, it is not very dirty. We found no bed bugs in our beds and our room was well-kept and cleaned before we arrived. Since it is a hostel (and not a resort), we had no housekeeping and had to share bathrooms but we knew this before booking our stay. The shower for women specifically is actually quite nice with provided shampoo and body wash. Unfortunately...

"Had a wonderful time staff is absolutely fantastic. The place is clean safe and very friendly. The beds are comfortable. Didn’t care to much for the blackout drapes ( I like total darkness when I sleep) these are see through a little. The bathroom and showers are clean private. Will stay again . The staff really makes the difference you can tell they take pride in there work o lots of steps have a bad knee but pushed through keep in mind with large luggage.. staff helped an old man out .....

"Very friendly hosts who are multilingual, my Japanese isn't very good but the staff was able to communicate in English and help me find tickets that I ordered online. Our plane was also late coming in but we were able to arrange self check-in for when we arrived and sorted out the details in the morning. Thank you again!"

"The owner was enyojable to talk to it was fun. It was close to the port to Minna Island and can walk to the supermarket. Also you can buy emergency drinks for very cheap so i really appreciated it."

"Very clean hostel. Stayed in the compact private room. Could hear others talking at night in the common area but aside from that it was a very good stay. Free shampoo and condition in the showers. The owners are lovely people with an onsite nail salon. Great food nearby. Overall very good location with a bus stop outside the door and walking distance to the American village and a beach. "

"Very near international street, location is superb, but also very nosie during night time even after 12am. Only 2bathroom and 2shower on the floor, sometimes need to wait if too many people, though they are very clean. For the bed is really hard, not really sleeping well, most of the people seems long staying there. Anyway, the staff are very nice"

"Friendly, helpful staff- I believe most of them, or maybe all, can speak English as well as Japanese. A shared common room area with a fridge and cooking facilities. Beds were okay- at least the privacy was decent. It felt like a capsule hotel- but to be expected for the type of hostel. "Beautiful hotel on the beach—Will definitely return here! Staff was very helpful and everyone friendly. Recommend a corner room overlooking the pool from one window and the East China Sea on the other. Fabulous views! Room is restocked daily with bottles water and iced tea, Orion beer, and bottles of liquor. Brought us fresh fruit plates twice during our 5 night stay. They dust, vacuum, and change bed linen daily. Excellent food! Great deal to book the room with breakfast buffet included—more food than you can ever eat. They have an inexpensive option of To-Go bento boxes to eat in your room if you don't want to have a sit down dinner or another buffet meal. Reasonable charge to book a taxi driver for the day through the bell stand that will take you anywhere you want to go and then bring you back to the hotel—saved a lot of money doing it that way compared to one way taxi rides. You wont be disappointed staying here!"

Amazing

"Before we arrived I had contacted the hotel concierge to arrange transport to & from the hotel and a few restaurant bookings. The staff could not of been more helpful in arranging this and a small surprise for my husband on our honeymoon. We were picked up by the hotel and the driver was polite and courteous. When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted so warmily be multiple staff, our bags were whisked away, we were given a welcome drink whilst we waited in the comfortable lobby to check in. The hotel is beautiful, it exceeded all our expectations and the restaurants are fantastic (we highly recommend Shiroux). The biggest asset of this hotel is it's staff. Everyone we met was pleasant, chatty and could not do enough to assist you. The hotel left a lovely gift for us to celebrate our honeymoon and the staff always congratulated us and made a special effort at dinner. Even just going for a stroll, the staff would say hello and have a conversation. We throughly enjoyed our time at this hotel and would recommend it to everyone, especially the snorkelling. We will definitely be back for our anniversary in a few years! "
