"We stayed on Sunday evening and arrived to a warm and cosy atmosphere. Our room had every we needed. It was quiet and all we could hear was bird song. We had that evening in the restaurant and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The beef roast was amazing. We stayed for breakfast on Monday morning and the selection and quality was excellent. We had a lovely stay and would stsy again, thank you. "

"I love this place. The hotel rooms are clean, comfy beds and nice bathrooms. The food is lovely (recommend the Stilton mushrooms) and the bar is well stocked and cosy. The staff and management were helpful and it seemed enjoyed the atmosphere. The whole place is filled with interesting antiques and bits of furniture. So much character. "Our stay at this hotel was great the staff were friendly and approachable. I room was clean i suffer with my back and found the bed a little uncomfortable and they could do with king size beds. Plenty of hit water and a fab shower. The breakfast was good and good quality. The hotel was situated right next to a train station which was fab for getting into Cambridge our room looked onto the trainline but it didnt bother us or wake us up it was so quiet."
