"The stay is brilliant - waking up with the lions roaring and even going throughout the night (which did scare our 2yo!) was amazing. we would definitely upgrade to a lodge where you get a golf buggy next time as the zoo is difficult to get round on foot as it’s so hilly. Also the sofa bed which is the double bed (alongside 2 singles) is unbelievably uncomfortable - I’m talking the worst nights sleep on a rock hard surface! The pod is also tiny so it is a tight squeeze and the sofa bed once...

"We had a very comfortable stay at Kingsdown. The house was well equipped with the basics. Finding the holiday park was difficult - we passed it a few times before a local showed us the way in! If possible drive through deal to get there instead of the narrow road through Kingsdown. Host was super responsive and helpful! "

"Overall good with one caveat and a slight disappointment. The house was very comfortable to live in for a week, very well equipped, lovely lounge, comfortable kitchen, conservatory and outside space for all the family. The one issue for us were the quality of the mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom was way too soft,and the downstairs front bed also too soft. The other issue, not to do with the property was there was a warning on the beach not to go into the water because of poor water...

"I wanted a quiet holiday with some good dog walks and some interesting places to visit. The Oast house was so very clean and tidy it had everything you needed and some special touches. Welcome goodies and even a supply of dog stuff (leads, towels etc) a mature enclosed garden and a well stocked kitchen. The instructions were simple and comprehensive, we had a lovely time"

"The Beach Hut is in a great location - really close to the beach, and a short drive from Rye and Hastings. The Hut was in great condition - very clean and the comfortable. The resort has lots to do (we had a lot of fun playing bingo!). Great for a family holiday or short break."

"Tina was a perfect host and dealt with any queries immediately. The bungalow is fantastic and we loved the decor. We really enjoyed the little extras such as the giant chess and retro games tablen and were grateful for the cupcakes and seed bombs on arrival. "This tasteful and well appointed chalet with great facilities is very close to the seafront, which you reach through a nice back garden. Swimming here was great as the shelf is quite steep so you get a good amount of time either side of high tide. The place itself is a pleasure to stay in and we can't wait to come again."
