"Wow! Whalesback Cottage was the Nova Scotia oceanside escape that we were looking for. Our own private space – no traffic … no crowds … and the only sounds were the waves hitting the rocks. We spent countless pleasant hours watching the tides change the view … scanned the ocean with binoculars looking for the whales folks see occasionally. "The hilltop retreat was perfect for us. We were looking for a place big enough and fully equipped to host a family gathering pre-Christmas. This was just right. The kitchen is fully equipped. The hosts have thought of everything. The house is cozy and beautiful. Great distance from town and beautiful views. We may make it an annual tradition. "

"The property was fantastic, well equipped and super cozy. We really appreciated the scent-free clean linens and space. The view is amazing and there is nothing like enjoying an ocean-side soak in a swim spa. Mishoo's was a great place to grab dinner and beverage to-go(3 minutes away). The place was a great destination spot - away from the city but close enough to be convenient."

"Great house. Some of the furniture needs changing like the dining room chairs that are very wobbly.3 bedrooms in basement are only doubles so like my son and his wife that are bigger people they had to sleep separately. All in all there was a great view and it was worth the prixe."

"Me and my partner had an amazing time at this super sweet unit. It looks just like the pictures, check in and check out was super easy and host was very helpful. It is a little drive from downtown and shopping centre but we didn’t mind. It was nice, clean and welcoming. "
