"Wir haben eine unvergessliche Zeit dort erlebt. Die Unterkunft ist noch schöner als dargestellt, der Ausblick auf das Meer und die Bananenplantagen ist wunderschön, der Pool war im November noch zu genießen und eine Grillmöglichkeit gibt es auch. Ebenfalls ist man einfach unter sich. Was ist gut zu wissen: Auto ist erforderlich und es gibt nur offene Toiletten."

"We stayed for a week in this lovely rental. It is probably the most relaxing holiday-let that I have ever stayed in. All of us were happy just to spend time in the garden, with so many areas to find our own favourite space. The garden is full of wildlife - birds, reptiles and bats The colonial style house is spacious and the kitchen is well equipped. Best pillows ever! The owners were very quick to respond to all of our queries. We all loved staying there."

"The location close to the new lava flow and the closure of many important roads made getting about very challenging. Most of the local restaurants and shops were closed post covid and the eruption and not knowing this in advance meant we couldn't properly plan for this. However, the villa itself, and Carmen whom I met briefly, were fabulous. Amazing views and just about everything you could imagine you would ever need was in the villa. "This is a delightful property. It is a wonderful home which we loved from start to finish. The hosts are a great couple who went above and beyond to make our stay as happy as it could be. We also made good friends with their cats who were always very well behaved. The location is perfect for hikes and for relaxation. We had a couple of restful afternoons on the sun loungers enjoying the peace and quiet. A great stay."

"We enjoyed our stay very much. It's a wonderful place to relax and forget the hassle and bustle of the city. We couldn't believe how quite it is. The cave is very cosy and comfortable and has everything you need. We felt very much at home. Grit, our host was very helpful and easy going. It's a great base for trips and hikes, but you definitely need a car. The steep road down to the property is a bit of an adventure, but you get used to it."

Up is the sitting room and bedroom en-suite. Next the table terrace and best bedroom. But beware the bathroom is not connected and it does rain, even in Tazacorte! "Everything was great! The house is big and has a super nice outdoor BBQ/eating place. We stayed for a month with 6, the owner is very nice and super helpfull. Ocean really nearby, wifi is fine, etc."

"We stayed one week at this large holiday resort in La Palma with stunning views and several great swimming pools. The resort is family-friendly and offers plenty of amenities. However, the check-in process was frustrating, taking over an hour after a long journey. While the rooms were clean, they clearly needed maintenance, with noticeable mold in the bathrooms. The food at the Food Market was okay but often overcooked and dry, and the coffee was disappointing. Overall, it’s a decent option for families but could improve in key areas."

Great hotel

"Excellent value for money in a lovely setting, the half board buffet was good quality. All staff were friendly. I stayed after getting off a cruise and was allowed access to my room at 10am, this was really appreciated. Would definitely return to the hotel. It is beside a beautiful beach and lovely coastal walk."
