The pictures are accurate in what they show, they don’t really tell the whole story. We read the reviews and were very excited until we drove up to the house.
Getting in the front door is challenging. There are two locks and they have to be opened just so. In the pouring rain fiddling with the locks was frustrating. Once inside there is no entry way or closets to set anything so we left our coats on the floor in the living room.
The kitchen is a small galley kitchen with the bare minimum number of cooking utensils. One medium size frying pan, one small pot, one large pot and a broiler pan and a few knives. There are no mixing bowls, measuring utensils, whisks, oven mitts or anything else. The coffee maker only makes one cup at a time from regular coffee grounds. There is a spice rack, salt, and pepper, but bring everything you might need.
The bedrooms are small and have only a bed. There are no night tables or any place to store clothes, so we had to live out of suitcases that we left in the hall. The only outlet in the master is under the bed so to charge a phone it must be on the floor as there is nothing to set it on.
The bathrooms look nice, but all they have is a pedestal sink and no counter space to set cosmetics, shaving stull etc.
The pool table looks fun but is set too close to the wall and fireplace so there isn’t enough room to pull back the cue stick. It also needs to be resurfaced. Essentially useless.
