Beach front house centrally located to all popular attractions

Beach front house. Located in Belmont Shore California. Bottom floor is open floor plan living room has a pool table and seating dining room has seating for six and kitchen has a large island with seating and fully stocked. Upstairs Master bedroom with King size bed and smart TV. Master bath has a Jacuzzi tub and walk in shower.Bedroom 2 has a queen bed on bottom and full size bed on top . 3rd room has a queen size bed . Family room has A couch that makes out to a bed. With a large sliding doors that open up to a balcony where you can sit and watch the boats and the occasional seal or dolphin. Roof top deck with lynx bbq. Full views of ocean, bay, Catalina, Queen Mary, and the Southern California Mountains. There is also a two car garage .Paddle boards ,kayaks and bike rentals in front of the house on the beach . Just a short 2 block walk to 2nd Street for great restaurants, shops and bars. And you can ride a bike or Uber a short distance to the Long Beach convention center and aquarium . Beach chairs,unbrella and towels provided. STREET IS CLOSED IN SUMMER 9-5 So people can walk bike and skate in the street. We are 40 minutes from Disneyland 30 minutes to Knottsberry farm 45 minutes to Hollywood in about an hour to Lego land. Great place for families and romantic getaways not a place for raging parties or events like weddings our neighbors will have the party shut down in a minute there is a place in front of our house that puts on weddings And private events on the beach.

Best VRBO on Alamitos Bay!
This house exceeded our expectations! It is situated right near the Alamitos Bay and has excellent views from all 3 floors. The rooftop deck is wonderful for meals and sunbathing. The interior decor is very beautiful with Mediterrarean and Gothic touches. Lots of artwork. The bedrooms are very quiet. Having a 2 car garage made it very accessible. HIGHLY recommend for a family wanting a wonderful vacation on the Alamitos Bay!

Great Location for Family Fun!
Loved this home. The home is well furnished and included a pool table for additional family play. The property also offered plenty of beach chairs, a small table and even a paddle board for beach use, which is located directly across the street. There were bikes in the garage but did not have time to use as we wanted to take in the multiple decks with water views for cocktails with family and friends. The top deck offered a built in BBQ, large table for family dinners and chaises and additional outdoor furniture for evening socials.

Eclectic, cool beach house!
We had a great time in this eclectic, cool beach house with our kids, grandkids and fur grand pups!!! Right across from the bay we were surprised by a water polo tournament over the weekend right out front. But we leaned into it and enjoyed the activity and people watching. 3 levels allowed us excellent views of the bay, West and Southern views of Long Beach. Easy access to go paddle boarding on the bay, and a 2 minute walk to the ocean. A great spot for family fun for my birthday celebration 🎂

Beautiful rooftop views
Gorgeous rooftop views. There are also nice views of the beach (which is right across the street) from the upstairs family room. Very comfortable. Lots of cool, tasteful, eclectic decor to look at. Good showers, comfy beds, nice kitchen. Good location. It took us a minute to figure out that the garage access is from the alley in back. Having a garage was really nice. I needed some laundry detergent, and they delivered it to the front door for me right away. There are several separate comfy areas to spread out in, which is nice, when traveling as a family. We felt at home there. We would love to stay there again.

Property as listed. Great beach house across from the beach(s). Close to activities, shops, grocery, restaurants. Easy drive to Los Angeles attractions, except for Universal Studio Hollywood during morning rush hour, since it is located at the other end of the city, so plan ahead. Quick response by host for minor questions that we had. Great rooftop patio. Would stay here again. Unrelated to the property: Kids bedroom (with bunkbeds) is for kids or young adults, not really for a couple. Lots of oneway streets and stops signs so watch for those. Sometimes you need to drive "two" blocks in the opposite direction to get to where you are going. Garage is in back alleyway, and fits a minivan. Would be nice to have a how-to-manual, but pretty easy to figure out most things.

I sent the owner a personal email listing things she may consider improving. She was upset with this list insulted me and said, I was lucky I did not send the email before she refunded the security deposit or she would have not refunded it in full. I apologized for the impression she took from my email as it was only per VRBOs request that we make suggestions and is only my personal opinion. Sincerely,

Unique property in a great location
The location is wonderful--convenient to the ocean, bay, and 2nd Street stores, restaurants, and night life. The property is large and comfortable and the attached garage is a real plus. It would have been helpful to have been given a bit more information about the property, either in a pre-stay email or through something inside the home. I really appreciate any insight into unusual appliances or something like a heads up that the microwave is in a closed cabinet. Took us a little while to find that one! It's also great to get restaurant suggestions, etc. The master bedroom is great--lovely room with large TV, elaborate bathroom with whirlpool and shower, and large walk-in closet. The other two bedrooms are really not. I would feel fine about having children in them, but felt uncomfortable that they were what I had to offer to adult children and friends. The beds are not real mattresses, pillows were uncomfortable, and the rooms were poorly furnished--just a dramatic step down from the master bedroom. The kitchen had most things you would need, though the appliances were well worn and a bit tricky. The upstairs deck was terrific with lovely views and a large grill. I hadn't noticed the pool table in the listing, but that was a fun addition! Overall we had a great stay, but I would be hesitant to stay here again with adult friends due to the dramatic disparity in the bedrooms.

Long Beach Stay
The house is nice and clean and roomy. It was nicer than the pictures. Perfect location. Walking distance to restaurants and to the beach. Also walking distance to the bay. It’s pretty perfect. The rooftop could use A little attention. But overall, we were very happy with staying there.
