"Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."

"Probably my fault but I didn't realize deposit had to be in cash. So had to scramble to find ATM to get $300. Then checking out they doubled the cleaning fee on us. They didn't provide toilet paper or dish soap and had to go to the store to buy some. Would have been nice to know there was no toilet paper before going to the bathroom."

"We enjoyed our stay for 3 nights end of March but were let down by a number of factors in the control of the owner ie. 1. No reply received to 4 messages sent to the owner over a 4 week period until the day before we arrived. 2. Only 1/4 of a toilet roll provided. 3. We had to make up the bed. 4. TV had a moveable aerial which we had to balance on a box in the window to get reception. Only limited local tv channels provided 5. Only perfunctory information provided. In addition parking was...

"The gite was lovely. It was quiet and we rested well. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was very good and clean. We just found the location to far to walk to any bars shop for us as we are older but for people wanting to go on long walks it would be great."

"Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back."

"A nice, light and airy, modern building in a very nice area. Spacious and comfortable with lots of outside space. We would have appreciated hanging space in the main betroom and more storage space in the kitchen. We would not hesitate to stay again for a short stay."

"A l'arrivée dans le grand gite, nous avons noté un manque de principales choses qui auraient dû ne pas manquées, comme le produit vaisselle, les éponges, produits d'entretien , papier wc, tout ce que nous trouvons d'habitude dans une location,sinon tout le reste parfait et propre, les 3 jours: visites aux alentours , marche dans les sables mouvants(super) et marche dans les falaises du Cotentin (merveilleux , difficile un peu)"

Luxury stay close to Mont St. Michel

"A gem of a place in the vicinity of Mont St. Michel. The owner personally welcomed and took us to our suite which was spacious and luxurious. The attention to detail of what it offered was extraordinary and the room was extremely quiet. For breakfast, we had croissants and coffee-- the very best croissants in all of France and the coffee was superb! And for a nominal fee, we were also driven a few minutes to the shuttle bus going to Mont-Saint-Michel Abbey. All in all, an enjoyable stay at this hotel which we would highly recommend."

"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."
