For the price you really cannot complain, I paid just over £140 for 2 nights all the other hotels around that area was around the £250 mark. The room was a little hard to find as the layout is slightly confusing, the shower isn’t very big at all with barely any room to move around in, the floors are pretty squeaky so you can hear every little footstep outside your room. Despite this you can’t argue with the price. I will definitely be using this hotel in the future for more London trips, as the area it’s in is very convenient as it is close to all the main attractions of London.

Hotel is dated but in a very convenient location for kings Cross abd exploring London. We only went to the hotel to sleep so it wasn't an issue

The room two was better than many reviews. Staff is very friendly, everything went smoothly.. Although the walls are out of paper, You here every sound from the neighbours. Bathroom was acceptable although the shower head holder was broken. The curtain definitely should be exchanged because of staining. And the glass to brush your teeth and rinse your mounth was dirty. All things which could easily be mended and would make the experience with hatdly no effort much better. Obviously, the walls would have to be doubled up with plaster boards and repainted.

Convenient for short stays. The room was satisfactorily clean but the stairs getting to the room, not so much.

It was awful, i had to move rooms twice, beds are broke and everything, mold in the rooms, along with dirty bedding, i complainted and they said nothing they can do any more as moved once already. Please avoid at all costs.

The balcony door didn’t lock, it took two people to push it with full force in order to close it. The bedding also wasn’t changed. There were hairs, false lashes, makeup and chocolate all over the sheets, duvet and pillows. We then went down to reception and were made to change the bedding ourselves.

We just needed a room to sleep in after theatre trip so this did the job. The rooms are dated but were clean and spacious. One night here was fine. Wouldn’t stay longer than that. Good location by Holborn station. Walkable to Covent Garden’s. So suited us. Cheap and easy.

Decent rooms with the affordable price in Central London and the staff were good. I didn't have the bed bug problem as someone said in the review comments. Had good sleep and it is close to British Museum.

A unique experience living in an old building turned hotel. The staircase to our room was narrow and winding. The wooden floor made creaking sound and some parts of the carpet were torn with nails protruding. Despite the creaking floor, the beds and linen were clean and comfortable. Suitable for short stay and backpackers.

Room very basic An needs totally updating, windows old an ready to fallout so traffic noise was bad. Tv was tiny, coffee and tea basic. Beds were clean and comfortable. Didn’t see any staff just given key and left to it. Close to a lot of places an buses and tubes. Ideal for a one night stay anything else id look elsewhere. £152 for a night with no breakfast was really expensive for the conditions of the room.
