Carp's Cabin: 2 bedroom budget-friendly, modern farmhouse bungalow w/ hot tub

Overlooking a forested ravine on a quiet, dead-end road sits Carp's Cabin. This farmhouse-style abode boasts 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, and a private hot tub for a luxurious, yet simplistic getaway.

Carp's Cabin features both a king bedroom and queen bedroom with one full bathroom (shower only) to comfortably house up to 4 guests.

Enjoy the simpler things in life without wifi by enjoying the ample outdoor decking/seating, relax in the private 4-person hot tub, enjoy conversation around the fire pit, binge satellite tv/movies, or doze in front of the gas stove fireplace.

This home is fully furnished and complete with a fully-stocked kitchen for your every need. Base rates are for 2 guests. We can accommodate up to 4 guests for additional charges.

Minimum booking age to rent: 21 years.

We have a friendly outdoor barn kitty on site who may come say hello. However, no other pets are permitted.

Come and enjoy a restful and relaxing stay off the grid in our luxurious cabin situated on 70 acres - just 5 miles from US 33.

The cabin and location were perfect for enjoying God's beautiful creation.
Beautiful / secluded / quiet location. The ambient music playing in the cabin when we arrived. The resident cat "Maisy" made our stay so much better. Gazing up at the night sky around the campfire.

Our stay was amazing, it was beautiful and we will definitely be back. Having Maisy greet us when we arrived, to her being at the door every morning and just wanting to play. Cozy Cabin with Fantastic Polish
My wife and I spent two weekend nights here to celebrate our 6th anniversary. This cute and cozy cabin was perfect for a short getaway where we could unplug and relax. We were surprised to meet Sidney, the visiting outside cat who was very lovey. Would highly recommend this as a peaceful location for any couple or small family.

It was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend
Everything was very clean and the house felt so cozy. As a wine enthusiast, I enjoyed all of the wine touches. The fireplace was amazing and added to the theme of the weekend. Outstanding experience and excellent staff!
This was an awesome experience. My family stayed in Carp's Cabin over the 4th of July holiday and it was great. The cabin staff was amazing and made sure that everything we needed was available. They made us feel comfortable and that our happiness was a priority to them. The rooms were very clean and well stocked with towels, sheets and extra blankets for lounging about the cabin. We will definitely stay there again!

The cabin listing undersells itself.
Jeff had everything little thing that we overlooked ready at the cabin. Things like tampons, makeup remover, spices for cooking, emergency flashlights should something happen, etc. The cabin was very clean, great finishes, and allowed us to have a stress free mini college reunion.

Nice secluded cabin with plenty of privacy.
I enjoyed the seclusion of the cabin and really enjoyed the attention to detail for our arrival. The music, aroma definitely made my wife and I feel welcomed. If I had to say anything negative it would be that for close to 45 mins we had a very large dog on the front porch. I'm sure he's friendly but he was muddy and very large so I was not interested in finding out LOL. Other than that it was a great time and we enjoyed the cabin.

We loved staying at this property, it was cozy and exactly what we were looking for. From the huge comfy bed to the kitchen that was fully stocked, Carp’s Cabin was the perfect blend of being off the grid without sacrificing familiar comforts. Maisy the property cat was an adorable addition. Would absolutely stay here again!

Macy the cat was the best part
I love animals so having a cute little kitty welcome me when we arrived and come see us when we were at the cabin was 100% my favorite part. If you do not like cats or are allergic this may not be the place for you though because she is allowed to come inside. Things to note: your GPS might tell you to go the wrong way when the road splits, the cabin is on top of where mine took me. The cabin was cute and has what we needed but there was hair in several areas in the bathroom (shower, and sink). They require guests to put a cup of clorine in the hot tub after using it. It was so over chlorinated that we could smell it before we even opened the lid and there was dirt settled in multiple spots of the hot tub. The listing does say there is no wifi, I also had no phone reception at all. I understand we were in the mountains and reception is hit or miss, it made me a little nervous that there was not even a landline for emergencies. I think what bothered me the most was the email I received after we checked out that asked me to only give them 5 stars and to email them personally if I wantes to give them anything lower. I am all about letting someone know so they can make adjustments but I also am someone who reads reviews to help me make an educated decisions, especially when it is something I can not see myself. If everyone is giving 5 star reviews and not being truthful that is steering people wrong in my opinion.

The property is very lovely however, the inside of the cabin needed some updating and wasn’t as clean as what my husband and I are used to. I felt as though we had to work to get the inside of the cabin clean. I wouldn’t return.

Me and my significant other decided to stay at Carps Cabin as our first getaway together. The cabin was so cozy and relaxing and the owners were super nice! There were lots of things to do in Logan and with having Columbus not too far from us either that allowed us to explore as well!

Perfect cabin for our family.
Carp’s Cabin was perfect for our family of 4. The kids loved the board games and movie selection! The hot tub was a great place to relax after hiking. Maisy is the best cat and we loved her company!
