"If you wish to stay in the heart of the village at Snowshoe, this is the ideal place. Highland House is located directly in the middle of the everything. We were able to walk to all attractions. Having to visit a second location to check-in was not ideal, but with the online guidebook provided prior to our stay, I was able to easily navigate that process."

"Stayed with my wife for 2 wonderful nights. Very clean and cozy cabin with everything needed. Excellent location very close to trails (went on amazing 7miles hike by the river) and romantic Hot Springs. Will be back soon!"

Nice cabin.

"If you want to get away from the city and close to nature in a safe comfortable small town setting this is the perfect place. We saw many deer, bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks and were surrounded by beautiful trees. There was a small creek across the road. You are in the woods but in a a small town. The Patton cabin was nice clean and spacious with a small kitchen with everything you need to cook, and a gas fireplace in the bedroom. It had a cute 2-person heart shaped whirlpool bathtub and a breakfast nook. The kitchen and bathroom was a little dated but it added to the charm. At night the cabin was dark and quiet. There was a good Italian/Greek restaurant, several bars and several grocery stores really close by. "
