Camp in one of the designated areas and enjoy fishing, rock climbing and hunting. Tee off at Linville Falls Golf Club, a high-end private club turned public golf course. The course on the north fork of the Catawba River is an essential visit for golfers and nature enthusiasts alike.

The golf courses are open late spring to early fall. Check for tee times before visiting. Linville is known for its luxurious lodges and country clubs, though you can appreciate the stunning region on a budget with many lodging options available.
