Our room was modern, clean, quiet, and comfortable (I might be too tall for the shower though). No issues except on one instance we detected cigarette smoke from possibly an adjacent room. "Comfortable room with a well-equipped kitchen for communal use. There is no elevator in this lodging, and all rooms require at least a short climb up steps. Located in a beautiful old neighborhood with a bakery close by. Within an easy walk of the old city. We did not drive so can't comment on parking. Communication with proprietor was all done by email and/or texting, but no glitches."

"Well located just near Little Venice. We stayed in the annex. Modern spacious room with view over river. Coffee machine and microwave. Probably not quite the ambience of the old part of the hotel but pleasant. Buffet breakfast was good. We didn’t use the restaurant otherwise as there are so many other options nearby."

"We had very poor to non existent wifi in our room on the 3rd floor. We were there for 4 nights and found a lack of storage in the room and washroom. We asked several times how old the building was and its history especially our room on steel stilts. No one seemed to know. The room was hot but we were able to keep the windows open as it was very quiet. We could have used an extra pillow as there was only 1 per be plus 1 extra would recommend this hotel"

"We loved staying at this property. The hotel common areas and rooms are beautiful and the staff is very helpful. Fresh bottles of water are delivered daily. The hotel lobby is lovely and having 2 Michelin star JYS in the building was a bonus. Proximity to old town was perfect. Close enough to walk daily without being in the middle of the crowds. "
