"The house was adorable and perfect for our relaxed little family of four and fur kids. We are easy going and really don’t need too much. With that said it was a rainy weekend and the walk from our vehicle to the house was extremely wet, socks, shoes, bottom of pants soaked. A nice little stepping stone walkway would be awesome. "We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming cabin! The cozy fireplace was perfect for relaxing evenings, and the spacious hot tub offered stunning ocean views. The kitchen was well-equipped with all the cookware we needed, and the large dining room windows facing the cliffside and beach provided breathtaking scenery throughout our stay. Dan was a very helpful and accommodating host, though I recommend sending check-in details through the VRBO app in the future for ease of communication....

"This was the main highlight of our fun vacation in Fort Bragg / Mendocino. The house is right at the border of the forest and has excellent views of the both the forest and the ocean. Keep at least a night to view the sunset from the bed as viewing the sunset is worth it from the house when you're not on the beach. The greenhouse / glasshouse attached to the house was where we ate most meals as a family under the stars. Seeing deer wandering around while sipping on wine was the best combination...

"We loved this little cabin! It had everything we needed! One thing to be aware of: the local pickleball community has adopted part of the street leading to the cabin as their courts. They’ll move to let you by, but it gets a bit crowded at times and they’re less than thrilled about stopping play to move their nets. Other than that, it was excellent!"

"This quaint, cozy home was exactly what my family was looking for as a holiday hideout on the coast! We were able to cook, grill, relax, walk, golf, and frequent both the brewery and pizza place nearby (both fantastic). This was our first time in Shelter Cove and it is both remote and beautiful. We loved hearing the ocean roar, watching the deer on their daily visits, and catching beautiful sunsets between rainy days.
