In the heart of the Baroque of Lecce, "The home of Clary", a former convent of the Benedictines of the 1400s, is located a stone's throw from the main points of interest in the city. 1 minute walk from the Duomo, 2 minutes from Piazza Sant’Oronzo and the Roman Amphitheater and only 10km from the marinas. The ancient 15th century residence has been finely restored, preserving the charm of the historical era to which it belongs. The structure is part of an ancient Benedictine monastery of the fifteenth century. It consists of an entrance hall, 2 double bedrooms, 1 very large living room with 1 single bed and 1 French sofa bed, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen equipped with every comfort. In addition there is a covered veranda which leads to an open space. Guests will have the exclusive use of the entire 180 m2 property which is entirely covered by wi. fi. The ancient monastery offers excellent accommodation and a refined atmosphere. Near the hotel you will find characteristic restaurants, wine bars, literary cafes having to taste the typical local products. Museums, churches, monuments, amphitheatres, convents, squares and small gardens will frame your walks in Baroque culture.
The historic sites are all within walking distance, as the structure is located in the historic center.
From November to March, heating consumption is included for 8 hours a day.
According to the provisions of art. 4 of Legislative Decree n. 23 of 14 March 2011, the Municipality of Lecce has introduced the tourist tax, the application of which starts on 1 October.
The tax must be paid for each overnight stay in the accommodation facilities located in the Lecce area. From October to April € 1.00 per person per night. From May to September € 2.00 per person per night.
