"Cozy wooden cabins in a nice location and a delicious breakfast. One thing to note is that cabins are joined in a longer house and are thus not soundproof - we could hear our fellow travelers talking, snoring, using the bathroom etc. The farm is now building another series of such cabins - perhaps they can take note of this issue especially for bathrooms - not nice to have to listen to your neighbor urinating when you are enjoying a glass of prosecco after relaxing in a nearby spa (Fontana)"

"We very much enjoyed our stay at the beautiful hotel remotely located in nature. It had a wonderful breakfast and staff were friendly. Accessibility: There are a series of a few small steps on the main floor which make it difficult when traveling with a stroller and luggage. There is a back door that is accessible with no stairs involved. It has access to the rooms located at the end of the hotel. Perhaps guests with children can request a room at the end near the back door."

"This is a cute room to rent on a quiet farm. The only thing I would suggest is update some of the pictures of the actual building. We were confused when we arrived because the building we were staying in didn't look like any of the advertised pictures so we weren't sure if we were in the right place. Thankfully, they had signs guiding us to the right building. Also, we weren't fussy but some people may not be happy staying in an apartment attached to a farm garage. "

Traverse this dramatic field of more than a dozen geysers and simmering mud pits resembling the end of the world.

Adventurous hike up to this waterfall. The hike is called Glymur. We had to walk through knee high water, jump rocks, use ropes to climb up steep cliffs, cross multiple rivers, walk on side of cliffs using narrow pathways, and walk through slippery mountain sides. Well worth it and made it even more exciting of a hike. I would suggest going here when visiting Iceland. It's approximately 1 hour and a half from Reykjavik. I took this photo while I was sitting on the side of a cliff overlooking the waterfall. Birds were flying side to side to their nests. It was truely paradise. #glymur #iceland #paradise #hikes #adventure # travel

"This property has a very nice, convenient restaurant with great food. The staff is very welcoming and the bar is open very late. They provided use of robes for the hot tub. The room was very clean and bigger than a few other places with a nice closet. The bathroom was spacious. We had our own door that led out to the hot tub area. The only room for improvement would have been that the key to the room does not unlock the door to the room from the hot tub area so you either have to prop the door open or find the door that leads into the hallway to get back to your room. Don’t leave your key in your room unless you prop the door open. There is some light pollution in this area from the local greenhouses. It was a great location to visit the Golden Circle and the Secret Lagoon. We would stay here again. "

Amazing cabin with warm interior, hot tub, fire place, projector & magical views

"Great property a very short drive from Selfoss. We stayed a week in early November. The check in book is very thorough. I am very glad the beds were comfortable (rare these days with rental properties) and the owners were very quick to respond with all communication both prior and during our stay. The only complaints i can think of is that we could not find a switch to turn off the deck lighting which would have helped out on getting some better shots of the northern lights (which even with the wild storms we encountered, we were able to experience twice!!) And that there are two extemely bright spotlights from a building far away that was always attacking us. Outside of that, the location was perfect and absolutely remote enough to easily get to all the places we wanted to get to on the southern island."

"Awesome, great location in a 'neighborhood' not too desolate, but sparse enough for excellent viewing right on property on walkable in the neighborhood in all directions. Excellent property itself, and really close to Selfoss for food, drinks, etc. Excellent experience and hope to be back! "
