Check in wasn’t great. First she couldn’t find our reservation errr I’m not sure where it was hiding but she finally found it. Then she gave us two room keycards but only one worked. My husband went back she took both cards and gave him two more. Only one worked. That was the worst thing that happened. The bartender was awesome! Our room was dated but clean and comfortable. Would I return? Yes for the price you can’t go wrong!

The staff are fantastic, the property is old and run down , you can see dirt in areas , bathrooms are not great old flooring with cigarette burns , very loud heating a/c fan, other wise great location and very friendly helpful staff , make you feel very welcomed and comfortable

It’s a piece of Nevada from 20 or 40 years ago. Being a Nevada antique myself, I liked the step into the past. The bar is open to serve an alcoholic breakfast but the buffet doesn’t serve any hot food.

This hotel serves as a basic place to stay, but it falls short in terms of amenities. One notable omission is the lack of restaurants or coffee makers in the rooms, although guests are provided with coupons for coffee at the downstairs general store. However, these coupons are not valid for tea, except for "this time only," day. Following a long day of kayaking, guests may be disappointed to find that the hot tub is not functional due to its freezing temperature, which maintenance confirmed it wasn't working and there should of been a sign. Furthermore, the elevator had a strong smell of vomit, which was later treated with powder that remained on the carpet for several hours. It is also surprising that the hotel does not feature any pictures, particularly given its proximity to the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon. On a positive note, the front desk staff are exceptionally welcoming and attentive. Additionally, the hotel does not have an ice machine, and guests must request ice from the front desk, which is provided in baggies.

No idea how this place is rated this high. Not a horrible stay but not at all good. Ice machine broken. Check in took forever with someone who was whispering and I had to say huh 100 times. They required the name of my kids which I wasn't comfortable with, rooms were dated and not in great shape, bathroom door didn't close all the way, someone threw up in the elevator, restaurants were basically non-existent, staff told me to not use a certain ATM because it doesn't spit out cash anymore, slots had broken buttons or cash inserters or both, view was poor even though we had a lake view (looking at 90deg outside the window you could see some of the lake), water smelled like sulfur and zero water fillers or fountains, soap and shampoo smelled horrible, there weren't even lines in the parking lot anymore, coffee cups leaked (3 out of 4). Pros? Guy bringing me Stone IPAs all night was awesome, fridge in room was cold, AC worked great, ample parking (empty), and location location location to the dam.

Great value for the cleanliness and lovely staff. However, regarding the management. There seem to be a lot rules and restrictions that make it feel like you are being punished for previous guests bad behavior. It feels oppressive and unfortunately will inspire me to not stay here again. Something else to keep in mind, they don’t have any table games and they do not have a restaurant. Just a snack bar with food that I think was previously …not fresh. So if you’re hungry, make sure you eat ahead of time. All that aside, if you need a clean, nice place to stay, have very little desire to gamble or drink or eat anything. This is great place! Oh also! If you have any desire to bring a guest over, they will have to fully check into the front desk, provide their ID before they can come up to your room. Apparently, the management does not trust their guests. If you’re a trustworthy guest, I would think of going somewhere else.. I think there’s plenty of people that would be happy to have your business.

We had a great stay here for 1 night whilst visiting the Hoover Dam. This place is definitely a hidden gem, there are multiple casinos and a little shop inside with a gas station opposite. The Bourbon casino was our favourite and the lady in there was so lovely and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

Very disappointed that the Cafe is closed. Their food was very good. The Mexican restaurant and Chinese restaurant are not everyone's style and the food was sub par. Take those two out and bring back the cafe. The rest of the property and service was outstanding. Some of the nicest workers I've encountered. Specifically Steven at the lobby bar. He was so pleasant and helpful and cheerful and handled a lot of responsibility running the bar and taking drinks to the casino floor. He is a gem of an employee and should be rewarded. Front desk ladies were all very good also.
