"We had a terrific stay at Ken and Shona's rental. The house was full of character, very comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen in a quiet and scenic neighbourhood. As cyclists, it was a great spot to launch a bike ride from with countless quiet backroads that were picturesque beyond belief. The house was close to all amenities and it was easy to busier roads/highways to travel to other towns and cities such as Pau, Bayonne etc. The pet donkeys were a special treat and we looked forward to...

"Tres joli logement ! Le jardin est arboré, il y a 2 terrasses : une devant le logement avec une table et une excentrée avec des transats (permet de s’isoler, sous les bambous … très sympa). Piscine plus grande que je ne pensais !! L’emplacement est calme, en pleine campagne et à 50 mn des différents sites du pays basque. Le salon est spacieux, cuisine bien équipée Chambres très sympas, douche agréable A noter : l’escalier est raide L’accueil est très amical Je recommande "

Frühstücken und Abendessen direkt am See, herrliches Baden am Steg und am Strand bei Ebbe, grosse Wohnung, top Ausstattung....Es war immer herrlich nach den Tagesausflügen mit grossem Trubel in Städten oder am Strand zu dieser Ruheoase zurückzukehren. Nehmt euch ein Paddelboot für Flussüberquerungen mit falls vorhanden! Einziges Mini-Manko: Der Whirlpool gehört nicht zur Wohnung dazu. MERCI Philippe!!! "

"We had a very comfortable and relaxing stay in this beautifully renovated and unusual house. It was lovely to sit and look at the horses and cattle in the grounds and the bird life was excellent. We could have done with a bit more equipment in the kitchen, such as a chopping board, but most things were there. The hosts were very friendly."

La campagne environnante est si jolie avec de nombreuses petites villes charmantes et bastides historiques, à courte distance de Pau, Salie de Béarn, Biarritz et de la frontière espagnole. "Het is een fijne locatie: groot huis met veel ruimte en grote kamers. Zwembad is heerlijk en best groot. Locatie is prima. Er is veel te bezoeken in de omgeving. Echter in het dorp zelf is niet veel te doen (wel een supermarkt express en twee bakkers. In Orhez (10 min rijden) is er een grote supermarkt. Huis is armoedig ingericht en meubels verouderd (Bank beneden is echt helemaal doorgezeten en bedden zijn erg laag), er is geen airco of vin (wat met temperaturen rond 30 graden wel lekker is) ,...
