The open floor plan encircles a large stone fireplace with a comfortable living room that has a beautiful view of a stream and the surrounding woods. The house includes 3 bedrooms, with king sized beds. The large deck provides a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the sun. The Endless indoor pool (8' x 16' x 3') is located in the sun room, and has heated water and relaxing jets. There is a Jenn-Air range/stove, upright fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer dryer to provide all of the comforts of home.

In addition to the Million Dollar Beach, families can spend time at nearby Usher's Park (basketball/tennis courts, picnic tables and pavilions, playground), visit any of the numerous restaurants in the area, and avail themselves of the many and varied forms of recreation and entertainment in Lake George Village and its surrounding environs.

Wonderful week vacation in Lake George
We had a wonderful, very relaxing week in Lake George. Away from the hustle and bustle but still close to all the attractions. House had everything we needed and plenty of room for us to all spread out. Our host Marty was great and checked in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. We are already thinking about coming back next year.

Great location with everything we needed
Perfect size house, room for everybody. There are beautiful views out of the huge windows in the back, with a hiking trail right out the back door and a babbling brook. Everyone really enjoyed using the pool/hot tub. The house is super close to everything, it’s just a few minutes to the lake & downtown, with a ton of shops & restaurants. Marty was very friendly & helpful. Really enjoyed our visit, thank you!

Bedroom on first floor!
We all loved the house and indoor pool. Also loved having a bedroom on the first floor. Having delicious drinking water straight from the sink was a treat! The location was excellent also. My spouse went for walks into the village but as a family, we always drove and it was easy and convenient. If you're bringing a boat, make a reservation in advance to store in a slip or at a marina. We used Norowal in Bolton's Landing and they were very accommodating.

Peace and Tranquility
Have been visiting Lake George since childhood and so many of the places we stayed over years are now gone bur we love making new memories. This was our first time renting a house and we’ve already scheduled a return for October! We loved it. As others have said, photos don’t do the house justice. It is large, comfortable and peaceful. It is very convenient to both the village and route 9 where so many of the area attractions and restaurants are located. We didn’t have best weather during stay or we would have had more firepit time. Knowing the area as well as we do, we have lots of excursions we love to do as tradition but, if we didnt, house was lovely base to spend time. Can’t imagine finding anything to criticize and am confident if we hsd, owner/Marty, would have been quite helpful. Looking forward to returning in a couple of months!

Beautiful house, very secluded yet close to major attractions
My family spent a little over a week here and had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful, large, and comfortable -- I agree with the previous reviewer who said the current pictures on the website don't do it justice. The kitchen is well-furnished, the bedrooms are spacious, and the cathedral living room gives a nice view of the woods. The kids loved the indoor pool, which is large and deep enough to really swim in. Marty, who takes care of renting the property, is great to deal with -- easygoing, prompt replies to questions, happy to share his experience of the Lake George area if you have questions. The location is excellent, a short distance up a private road in a wooded area at the base of the mountains. (The private road itself is unpaved and a bit rough, so take it easy driving, but you don't have far to go on it.) The house is literally just a few minutes away from downtown Lake George or the interstate, yet is completely secluded from all of the hustle and bustle. I thoroughly recommend staying here.

A great cabin, moments from everything.
First off, I must say what a lot of people already have: this house is even better than the photos convey. It's big, good looking and a very fun home base to all the offerings Lake George has. Secondly, Marty is amazing. He is attentive, present and a pleasure to deal with. The beach is a moment's drive from the house (less than 3 minutes) and the walk is under 15 minutes. I don't reccomend the walk for elderly or children be ause of traffic, but my wife and I found it an easy stroll. The pool room is a great addition. The kitchen is capable of being used by multiple people. The grill may need a bit of love, but still made good burgers. Honestly, the house was better than we could have hoped for. It was perfect for 6 adults. Thanks Marty! We hope to see you again in the future!

Beautiful home away
We spent a long weekend here during the “off” winter season to have a change of scenery and relax. We really enjoyed floating in the heated pool, shopping in the outlets and walking around the lake. We ate out as several restaurants that were very good! The house is close to the lake (if warmer, we probably would have walked there) and restaurants. There is a beautiful stream in the backyard that my dog enjoyed running around in. We did have about a foot of snow while we were here and lost power for a day. The property manager, who lives just a few doors away was in close communication and provided us with supplies. The power came back and everything was up and running. The house is quite large and beautiful. The furniture is old and pretty worn. The bed was comfortable! There are several bathrooms. Laundry was useful. Fireplace was gorgeous! Overall a very nice weekend.

Perfect house in Lake George
Marty the property manager provided all of the house info and area info before arrival and came to check to make sure everything was okay and to make sure we didnt need anything else or have any questions. The home was perfect and clean and had everything we needed for the week. This was our first time to this house and the area and we LOVED it. So much to do with the kids we all said it was our favorite summer vacation to date. We walked many times to the beach and to shopping and resturants but took the car for beach days to carry all the stuff. But if you just want to take a walk it's right down the road. Resturants stay open late which is great when you have a full day out. The house is on a quiet street and is very peaceful the back deck faces the woods and has chairs table and a hammock for relaxing. The kids loved the pool an added bonus. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you would need to cook. The beds were very comfortable which is not common with vacation rentals. Marty even brought blow up mattresses for the kids. We have zero complaints about our rental and look forward to coming again! Thank you Marty for all your help in making our summer vacation the best ever!
