"We enjoyed the lake view but not so much the fact that it is indeed a village and not a hotel and sometimes visitors might book a 2-night stay to celebrate and spoil the otherwise quiet surroundings."

"The room for a family of 4 was adequate for a one night stay. Beds were comfortable and cleanliness was fine. Arriving on a Saturday afternoon to find the hotel was closed and we had to let ourselves in. Restaurant was also closed and the area did not have anything close by....we eventually ate at a place that was 6km away. Functional if you just want a rest stop."

"Lovely old building with pleasant grounds but the unit lacked a great deal. Firstly, no air conditioning on a 34 degree day is a huge problem for anyone. We had to ask for a fan and leave windows on ground floor open all night in order to get some kind of sleep. NOT IDEAL for safety. Kitchen facilities were lacking, no chopping/cutting board, no sharp knife to cut anything, no microwave heating bowl, slow oven top, no egg spatula or tongs, no toaster. "Landlady made clear - repeatedly! - this was not a hotel and had double booked one of our two triple rooms. She did find another hotel for two of my guests, but that is not what we wanted! We wanted the group together! So not at all impressed with the organisation or the breakfast which was poor for 15 euro per person. "

"We immediately felt as if we were in our own home. The hosts were very from friendly, but respected our privacy and served us one of the best breakfast we’ve had in years.!! Host also provided detailed instructions on how to get to center of town, what attractions to see and which restaurants to use. Overall a fantastic stay we hope to revisit our next trip."
