"This charming and authentic Riad is in a great location to explore Fes. Stairs to second and third floor are narrow and a bit tricky to navigate if you are older. The rooms are comfortable each with its own HVAC unit. Would highly recommend dining at Cafe Clock and taking a cooking lesson there with Chef Souad."

"To be completely honest we were put into a different house but it was so much better than we expected. The hosts were amazing, so friendly and accommodating. We even did a cooking class with Nabila and it was just so wonderful. In my opinion the location doesn't be really matter in Fes as you would be guaranteed to get lost anyway."

"This was a great VRBO. The house is very comfortable and is literally in the middle of things in the Fez medina, but only a short walk out to the taxi stand or the main gate. "It’s difficult to describe how nice our stay in Fes was. This house is magical. Communication with Christophe was easy, and he even set up a ride for us to Volubilis (must-see). "I stayed for over a month. I really like everything about the apartment. It's clean, comfortable and very close to taxi station and Center Ville. "This is a scam. We booked it, paid for it, and did our plan based on that. Once we arrived to the location there was no contact to reach and a guy on the street said the apartment already has residents that been there for a while. So looks like Expedia is a partner in scamming. By the way, no refund was issued and Expedia swys the booking is through another party "

First time in Fez!

"We booked this Riad for our quick impromptu trip to Fez for coupe of days. We had a great experience staying at Le Grand Alcazar - Riad is beautiful, clean, has stunning architecture and convenient located to Fez Medina. It’s walking distance to major sightseeing: Blue gate, Bou Inania Madrasa, Al Attarine Madra and more. Staff were very friendly, especially YUSUF! Yusuf is your go to person for anything you need, he can help you with booking day trip, recommendation for food, can bring you charger if your forgot yours, you name it and he will make it happen for you to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Overall great location, great place, nice view from terrace, lots of vegetarian options for food near by. I highly recommend this place. "

"Very much enjoyed our short stay - very nice hotel near the entrance to the Medina, so access from our car was easy. Note that if you want to have dinner there, one needs to give them notice early in the day or they may not be able to accommodate you with a full meal. Good to know because dining options in the Medina itself seem limited."
