"The accommodation itself was lovely, easy check in. Peaceful and very secluded, perfect location for a quiet stay. We drove for 7hrs from the UK, with this as an overnight stop. We had intended to eat at the hotel restaurant upon arrival, only to be told we couldn't as the chef didn't have enough stock to cater for two extra covers! So after an already long day of driving we had to get back in the car and head to the local town in order to have dinner! Rather disappointing."

"Nice location and quiet surroundings. I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. Message arrived shortly after and I was then able to know which lodge and code. Spacious and immaculately clean, equipped for short self catering stay as necessary. "This is a no frills chain that consistently offers comfortable beds and a good shower at a decent price. If you are driving in France and are comfortable going off the tourist path- this chain offers a great place to overnight. Don’t expect English to be spoken there. You need enough French to check in and out. "
