"I booked, looking for a place to staycafter getting off the ferryvfrom Okinawa. When I arrived I realized this wasnt just a place to sleep. It's the city's "grand hotel". Set in gorgeous grounds, with more trails nearby in the mountain forest, it offers a large breakfast buffet and a huge onsen with indoor and outdoor pools - all of them with spectacular views over the city and volcano."

"Nice hotel and would definitely stay here again. Room was a bit bigger than the smaller sized Japanese hotel rooms l've experienced (especially the bathroom which had a full-sized walk-in shower). Bed was very, very comfortable. Shower had a 'normal' shower head and a rainfall shower too. Good in-room amenities. Nice staff. "

"I loved my stay at this hotel. The location was super convenient, so close to the main shopping district and a 5 minute walk from the trams and buses, or a 20 minute walk to Sakurajima or the train station. The room was comfortable and the hotel offered a lot of amenities, such as extra pillows, a microwave, laundry service, a 'help yourself' style bar for toiletries and teas. There's also a huge collection of manga. The rooms are cleaned every day and you can request not to have it cleaned. If they aren't cleaned, the staff will still leave you clean pyjamas, towels and bin bags for if you need to freshen up your room. The hotel kindly merged my separate stays into one so I didn't have to change rooms."
