"Hostel was all good! Some pretty fancy toilets. It did get a little loud at night in the men's dorm due to the trains every now and then but a couple of ear plugs solved that problem. Great location close to Kagoshima-Chuo and food vendors. Pretty happy with everything given the price I paid."

"I had a great stay at Tomeru Hostel. The location of the hostel is superb, off street enough to be quiet and peaceful, yet close enough to the tram station to access everywhere in town easily. Gotta climb four storeys to reach the dorm but staircases are an every day thing in Japan anyway. It was raining almost daily when I was in Kagoshima, but a variety of umbrellas were provided for our use. I especially loved the subtle light music that was put on every night in the common room. "It is a nice newly built high rise aprtment with two twin beds and it has all the things one needs including kichen, washer/dryer, vacuum clearner, cooking wares. The room is big enough and has a balcny. It has not front desk but signing in and out through an Ipad is very quick and easy. It is one min walking from the train station and bises are right there. There are lots of restaurants nearby and shopping malls. There is a car parking structure next door. It is on a side street with zero noise...
