"Pension Dafni, my go-to hotel every time I visit Nafplio. I had the pleasure of returning in July 2024. The hotel's old city charm is met with modern day luxuries. Conveniently located, its close proximity to local shops, cafes, dining establishments and transportation, instantly makes you a local! Let's not forget to mention its breathtaking view of the Fortress of Palamidi -- history, only steps away! Usually I stay in the same room, however, this trip allowed me to experience one of their private suites. All I can say is, WOW!! It's like having your very own apartment in one of Greece's desirable cities. I almost forgot to leave, lol... The hotel now offers brunch. Mouthwatering treats...need I say more? Kudos to the owner(s) and staff. Wishing them all the very best and continued success. See you again...soon!!! ;) "

"The place is beautiful. The staff are courteous and helpful. The room was clean and very comfortable. It's right on the edge of the tourist area and there's a lot of foot traffic day and night. The parking stinks. If you are driving, you may have to park a fair distance away. "

"We recently stayed at Nafplia Palace, and while we enjoyed our time, it’s clear the hotel has seen better days. The lobby and part of the hotel are out of use, likely due to maintenance issues, which is a shame because you can tell this place was once something special. The villas, though clean and still charming, are a bit dated. The Not-So-Great: - The TV was ancient—an upgrade would be nice, even if it’s not a necessity. - Some obvious wear and tear throughout the property. - Water pooled behind the bath with no easy way to drain it. - The light switches were confusing and tricky to use. - The pool’s pump on our room wasn’t working, so the shared pool didn’t clean itself. The Good Stuff: - The staff are fantastic—super friendly and really make your stay enjoyable. - The infinity pool is amazing with gorgeous views. - Onsite parking and easy town access via an elevator are big pluses. All in all, you’ll have a good time here, but don’t come expecting the luxury it once offered."
