"If you are looking for a remote lake get away in northern Otsu this is ideal. This location suits the out door adventure types who want to be away from Otsu city. The lake was an amazing place to swim. What also would be a Great Lake side party atmosphere and relaxation with a group of friends. Amazing cleanliness despite the overall facility being quite old. "The 5 stars is based on the Expedia value and I arrived after dark. With current exchange I paid $46usd for a standard double room. The property has blemishes but it was a tremendous value (even before exchange). My experience was one night and I didn't soak in the public bath. But the residents appeared to enjoy it. I would definitely look at this property again if I'm in Nagahama."
