Check-in musste online vorgenommen werden weil Rezeption nur zwischen 14-19h besetzt, war dadurch leider etwas kompliziert und aufwendig (Codeschlösser), wir haben es aber dann geschafft. A operating restaurant, housekeeping, spa and sauna, ambience and warmth, qualified and efficient staff of any sort. This hotel is so bad that it should not be open. From the dead flies on the floor to some else toiletries in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned. Originally built as an old people's home it retains that theme so if you are...

"My experience at their restaurant was so bad that I am considering calling the German authorities to check their kitchen. My dinner was a disaster, twice did the burger come in raw, and when I found hair in my salad I got enough. No understanding from the staff. Since you are dependent on eating here since no other restaurants in the area I can’t recommend this hotel to anybody"

"What a fun and unique hotel! The kids (ages 2 and 5) absolutely loved it! Our room had bunk beds and a race car bed! Our 5 year old said he wants to live there forever. Great place for families!"

"It was a lovely hotel. Beautiful building, fantastic rooms that were very spacious and set in a wonderful location. Food and service at restaurant was also tremendous. My only slight criticism was that I had a poor sleep due to the mattress being a type of memory foam that I personally found very uncomfortable. I understand mattresses are a very individual thing and it really is a minor criticism, but unfortunately I had a very poor sleep due to it "

"Great location, a short walk from the castle. Comfortable triple room, which actually had two beds in a separate section (ideal), plus a fridge and kettle. Good breakfast with an excellent array of fresh fruit, and fresh rolls. We had a very warm and helpful welcome from Mohammed; he explained how to reach the town centre and had restaurant recommendations - we enjoyed our meal at Lehner Wirthaus. A little noise from the train station but we slept well. Thoroughly recommended. "
