「Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit vielen frei herumlaufenden Tieren! Die Unterkunft war schön, geräumig, sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Wir hatten vorab einen Picknickkorb bestellt und auf der Veranda gegrillt. Obwohl es leicht regnete, haben wir draußen unter einer Decke gesessen, Wein genossen und den Tieren zugesehen. Einfach traumhaft!」

「Well situated on high hilltop great view of lake . Property has gated entrance . Seems like a safe environment. No air con it was quite hot when we were there those accustomed to air con would not be comfortable . those that do not need tempature control would find it a safe clean well situated venue」

「Reservation confirmedfor 5 nights, almost 1 month later host manually updated booking to 3 nights due to system not properly updated and resulted in double bookings. Had to pay for additional 2 nights at higher rate after already having paid for 5 nights. Not planning to stay there ever againagain」

「Die gesamte Unterkunft ist etwas in die Tage gekommen. Wir haben keine großen Ansprüche und so war das in punkto Sauberkeit halbwegs in Ordnung, aber doch schon an der Grenze. Der Pool ist mit Salzwasser gefühlt, zu unserem Erstaunen vielleicht sogar noch etwas salziger als das Meer. Für eine, maximal zwei Nächte ist der Platz in Ordnung.」

「Terrible experience. The agent told us YOU did not communicaye our booking and that she never received it. We had to find other accomodation , at exhorbitant prices, because we had no choice. This is the busiest time of the year. Did you communicate my booking. Did she mess it up? Im extremely unsatisfied. We now sit in a little house far away from the sea, at an exorbitantly inflated rate.」

「The hosts were incredibly kind and willing to accommodate us. The area was quiet and surrounded by nature. You fall asleep to the sound of frogs croaking in the distance and wake up to bird-song. The cabin is very clean and well taken care of and had everything we needed. We ordered the extra breakfast, and it was enough food to last us our whole stay! I couldn't be happier. If we ever visit Knysna again, there is no other place we would rather stay. It was truly a magical, rejuvenating...

「Beautiful stay at the oakhurst farm cottages. Farm shop had lots of food choices for an easy meal or a braai. Lovely meal baskets and a wonderful facility with lots of different options and things to do. Would love to head back in the future!」

「Wir waren im November da. Wir hatten das 4 Bettappartment. Unser 1. Eindruck : Ghosthouse. Die Anreise war schon spuky, obwohl wir uns per E-Mail extra vorher angekündigt hatten und nachfragten wie wir nach 17 Uhr aus das Gelände kommen, keine Antwort. Aus den Bewertungen wussten wir dass wir für das Tor einen Code benötigen. Tja irgendwie haben wir einen Weg rein gefunden und dann auch den Weg in unsere FW. Es ist alles sehr alt, muffig und die Küche allein ist 100 Jahre alt, aus den 20gern....

「This was truly a wonderful treat for us and it was made so comfortable for us. Friendly welcome and assistance through-out our stay.」

「The road to and from the cottages is challenging for some. I was not fussed but my wife is scared of heights and in some parts was anxious of the sheer drop. The cottage takes you back in time as there is no electricity, hot water or mobile phone reception. I really enjoyed the seclusion and quietness but this may not be for everyone. The 'donkey' to have hot water takes me back to my childhood as it requires tender loving care and lots of patience and time. Here again, not for everyone but if...

「12 Zelte mitten auf einer Ranch. Kleiner Shop mit allem was man braucht. Gibt Frühstücks- und Grillkörbe zu bestellen. Im Zelt ist alles da. Auf der Ranch gibt es viele Tiere zu beobachten. Typisch für ein Zelt hört man alles um einen herum. Auch nachts die Tiere. Ein tolles Erlebnis. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Attraktionen (Straußenfarmen, gamelodges, tropfsteinhöle,...)」
