"This hotel had the most amazing night staff. He bent over backwards when we arrived late from our flight, personally making us food and serving drinks after the kitchen closed. "This was a very nice hotel, we stayed here for our first night in Iceland. The reception was very helpful and nice, making check in easy. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower water temperature being wayyy too hot as the gauge seemed broken beforehand. We waited to see if the water would cool down after some time and it did not. The faucet ran very hot after that as well. "

"The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!"

"Had a great stay at the Fosshotel Baron last week. The staff there are warm and welcoming and check in is quick and efficient. The facility is clean, with seating areas and a restroom on the main floor. Breakfast included a wide variety of foods, and their breakfast box was great! As an Expedia VIP, I got access to free welcome drinks which was a nice surprise. The room I was in was small but I knew that going into the trip. It made good use of the space though, and the location couldn't be beat. Would recommend a stay here for anyone looking to explore Reyjkavik!"

"The rooms and hotel were very clean! Walking to shopping and restaurants was super convenient. The breakfast was small but had many options. The offerings are the same every day that we were there. Having the breakfast included was very convenient. The only “problem” we encountered was there was no parking. We had to pay for it daily but it is free 9:00 pm-9:00 am for parking. It was still a beautiful property and would love to stay there again. "

"We stayed 4 nights for short vacay. The property is excellent. The best thind we like about it is the free daily breakfast. Its sumptious, clean, delectable and well prepared. Parking is available and its free. Bed is comfortable. Room is clean. Location is good. Highly recommended. "

"Thhey utilize their space well. We stayed in a hub. We opted for the lower bunk. Just the right space that we need to sleep. They have outdoor hot tub. They have a common room where they have ice machine, fridge and microwave. They have self-serve bar and vending machines in the property. It's witing walking distance to lots of restaurants, bars, souvenir stores, cafe’s, small groceries. You'll need to drive to other places. There are buses around too. There are options for parking, and we used a parking garage a block away."
