A TRANQUIL GETAWAY FOR 6…
Welcome to captivating views of the ocean ideal for unwinding and unpluging from reality. You are sure to recapture your island soul and fulfill all your tropical fantasies here. This delightful and cozy family retreat offers magnificent views, a soothing hot tub and is the perfect spot for finding your zen and casting your cares away. Located in a small, manufactured home community called "Bone Island'', this home is but a brief 10-15 minute Uber ride to all the excitement that is Key West and the famous Duval Street. Enjoy being a close to some of the best food, such as Hogfish Grill, Roostica or Chicos Cantina. Travel over to Hurricane Hole for happy hour and kayak tours from Lazy Dog or rent a boat for the day out of Stock Rock Cafe at Cow Key Marina.

DETAILS AND AMENITIES:
This home has all the basic amenities you'll need to relax under the tropical sky and enjoy all the creature comforts you expect. After a day of adventures in the salty waters, come home to this perfect retreat. Settle down on your cozy furnishings for an evening of your favorite tv shows (cable tv and wifi included) and cook your fresh catch of the day in the well stocked kitchen, which includes a stainless refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker. There is also a stackable washer/dryer in the unit.

SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS…
The primary bedroom features a brand new king size bed. The second bedroom features a twin/trundle that sleeps 2. For additional sleeping, the sleeper sofa in the living rooms pulls out to a queen bed. The hall bathroom includes a shower/tub combination.

OUTDOOR LIVING…
Park your boat on the private dock for your entire stay, fish off the dock and enjoy elevated views of the Atlantic Ocean. Then wash the day off in the hot tub and grill up your fresh catch of the day! Trailer parking is not included (see PARKING below). Key Haven public ramp is 0.7 miles. Go for a guided or private kayak tour nearby, or have kayaks delivered through our concierge service. Swimming off the dock is not recommended due to boat traffic and strong currents.
***The dock is 32 feet in length. Due to extreme tide fluctuation please refer to your tide charts for boating and dockage depths.

PARKING...
There is one private parking spot included with your stay--no trailers. Contact Hurricane Hole Marina for trailer parking. $25/day or $120/week.

PETS...
1 dog under 35 lbs is permitted at this home. Please include the size/breed when inquiring.

Enjoy our concierge service to assist you with planning activities for your trip, from bike/scooter/golf cart rentals to any excursion you can think of including snorkeling and sunset cruises, jet ski rentals, parasailing, kayaking, fishing, paddle boarding and much more. They can also have your fridge stocked with all the necessities in advance of your arrival!

CANCELLATION...
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of stay will receive a 100% refund. Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of stay will receive a 50% refund.

Nice spot on the bay
Great little spot on the bay, with lots of seating options to enjoy time outside by the water. The house is only about 20 min from downtown/ fort Thompson Beach and a 40 min bike ride. Very relaxing, would stay again/ reccomend.

Close to everything
This is a great central location for local spots and tourist spots. We had an amazing time fishing from the house and enjoying the back yard at night as well as exploring and enjoying the great vibes of the keys. Check in and check out was super easy the house was super clean with plenty of towels and linens for any scenario.

Good location as far walking distance to a Cuban food truck- Luna. Hogfish is a good restaurant, good seafood and good service, short walk. Property was clean. Beds comfortable. Mostly quiet. It’s about 3 miles from Key West.

Wonderful, relaxing stay
My husband and two kids and I stayed here over winter break and it was absolutely wonderful. It is very close to downtown Key West but a nice distance away from the noise and hubbub. There are also a couple of really nice restaurants on Stock Island within walking distance and a few more within a few minutes driving. We were so relaxed during out stay. I loved sitting up on the deck reading and my kids and husband loved fishing down below. I highly recommend this stay!

Overall very cute little place to stay!
Overall we loved the home. It had all we needed inside and some outdoor seating as well. There were so many iguanas and jelly fish and salamanders which was cool to see. The water wasn't swimmable, and the planes (near the navy port) were a minor setback but overall in a decent area with good people around

Nice little place
This was a nice little place to stay in the Key West area. Easy access to all the fun things to do. The house is a cute little house on stilts with a little dock area that our kids really enjoyed. It is in a trailer house neighborhood, but it is in its own little gated community of homes and rv's.

The big bedroom is nice The second room is not very conformable for 2 adults And the sofa bed is a real nightmare for your back. This is more for a family with 2 children than a family of 6 adults.

Pleasant stay
Nice/cute rental for the price. Neighborhood is a little unsightly, but didn’t feel overwhelming. It’s what you could expect at a nightly rate that you pay. Waterfront access/view was great. Only issue was the post lists the second bedroom as having 2 twin beds. It actually was a twin bed with trundle bed underneath. I would have appreciated this being stated in the listing, so expectations met reality. Other than that, would stay again.

The unit was clean, but tight for three people in the living/kitchen/dining area. Swimming was listed, but I would not recommend it. Roosters will wake you promptly between 5-6:00 am, daily.

Wonderful view and near downtown Key West
This is a great place to stay if you dont want to be in the hustle of downtown Key West. Stock Island had some great bars and restaurants. We rode bikes over the bridge and to Duval street, easy ride and big sidewalks the whole way. The backyard, view, water access and hot tub were awesome. We didnt use the hot tub. Also had some bicycles for use but needed air in tires. The inside had everything we needed and A/C worked well. Neighbors are kinda close but nice folks. We would stay here again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband, 3-year old son, and I stayed here for a Key West vacation and the property was perfect for our needs. Great location in Stock Island that was close to everything Key West has to offer but far enough away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. The property was clean and well stocked with kitchen items (pots and pans, plates, etc.) The view can't be beat and the hot tub was a cozy space to enjoy the evenings. Great communication with the property manager, too. We can't wait to come back and stay again!

The unit is basically a trailer in a poor location of town. Does not accommodate 6 comfortably. Roosters start crowing before dawn. We will not be back. However, the host was very informative and available.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We very much enjoyed our 3 night stay in this rental. It is as described, very clean and tastefully decorated. The view of the water is spectacular! It should be noted that while there is a private dock, the water is not suited for swimming. I wish I had brought my kayak or paddleboard. The neighborhood is definitely not fancy, mostly mobile homes, RVs or warehouses or industrial buildings. I did not feel safe walking after dark, even to the CVS nearby. It should also be mentioned that there is a naval air station on the next island and the noise from the planes used for training was deafening. Overall, I would recommend this rental with some reservation.

Proceed with caution if neighborhood vibe is important factor
Upon arrival it was shocking. It required navigating several blocks of urban decay. As explained vaguely in the listing, unit was situated in a small gated lot of 8-10 mixed dwellings, detachable trailers, mobile homes and a couple manufactured homes. The small community was nice and neighbors were friendly. But within a few feet and eye sight was a DMZ area all around. Once inside the unit it was clean, updated, stocked with basic needs with a nice view of water. But the "water" was a small cove full of algae and weeds, definitely not swimmable. It was overpriced for location and season. Young couples and friend groups might enjoy it better.

Good location. Hogfish is a good restaurant with good seafood and good service, a short walk away. The property was clean. The beds were comfortable. It was mostly quiet. A rooster would/will wake you every morning. We stayed while Helene was making her debut, but there were no problems or destruction.

Private and comfortable
Although the neighborhood isn’t stellar, the unit is fantastic! We are familiar with Key West, so this was ideal! The unit has a great balcony and lower area with a hot tub and furniture to lounge. There are a lot of stairs, but not a terrible inconvenience. We could grill, lie in the sun, and relax. Very clean and well-equipped. Our dog was pretty comfortable as well. No one bothered us, and we enjoyed our stay! A good “base of operations “ for all we enjoy about Key West! We’d stay again for sure. 👍
