"This place is listed as Gloria Beach Lodge but it does not exist at the given address on the confirmation email. The phone number is a Ukrainian one. To contact this number after many attempts was futile. A message was sent via a local number and a local who contacted me 6 days later .In the meantime my family and I had to find alternative accommodation for those 6 days. Unfortunately I had a second booking of 2weeks with same lodge which ended up being a hotel called Tradewinds which is...

"I made a reservation and upon check in the room was flooded with water from the leaking sinks, asked for the room to be changed but the receptionist on that day her name is Peninah said that was the best. The following day instead of your staffs compesenting me they said the room they gave was what I booked for and that all the cheap rooms are in that state. Is that what you sell to your clients? Flooded rooms? I had to pay 10USD Extra for single occupancy for a decent room. That's being reaped...

"Very calm spot, unlike the rest of Lamu. Staff very helpful and very professional, offered to organize outings as needed, which is good because the location is inconvenient for individual exploration. "

"The property (houses on Easter Side) has big issue with the three-phase power input. Finally, we spent our night without electricity (two basic lamps were provided instead for the room and bathroom). The electric generator was not reliable - lights were blinking all the time. I didn`t want to charge my electric equipment when the generator was used (didn`t want risk damaging items). The breakfast was rather basic. The rest of the experience was OK. It was the only only one property we visited...

"We had a fantastic vacation, welcoming staff, clean and fresh linens, nice pool and of course the hospitality and welcoming of the landlords.. Close to the beach, approximately 200 metres, east to walk...there is a nice beach bar, shack with a few swinging beds, big, comfy chairs and you soak your feet into the white sand on the beach. You should a cook for the duration of your stay, if you not want to cook for yourself, it is more than a relief. Nobody wants to cook and do the dishes on...
