"The property in itself was average (rooms/bathrooms etc). There was an overwhelming smell of food, I wish they provide some ventilation to remove odor. BUT, the service was excellent, everyone was friendly and helpful. And the freebies were extraordinary compared to other hotels in the area. We got a ticket for one free drink in the evening. There was free coffee and fresh baked bread and fresh soup for evening snack. The breakfast in the morning was also made from scratch (and not recooked frozen food or food made from mixes). Pancakes were fresh and so was everything (roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs, oatmeal, sausage). Omlettes were being made-to-order. And there was free parking (which does not seem to be the norm in PDX). All in all, this was a great stay. Would highly recommend."

"Spent three nights for an event I was attending. Rooms were clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was convenient as we had to leave early each morning. Didn't spend a lot of time in the room but I would stay again if I am in the area."

"We always enjoy our stay at Lewis River Inn! Rooms are always spotless and very comfortable. They have dog -friendly rooms with hard floors ( no carpet) with dog beds and bowls! Really thoughtful. The breakfasts are always great. There is a big waffle maker, biscuits with gravy, oatmeal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, juice, milk, coffee and more. Great value. Inn is close to Ilani Casino, Vancouver and Portland. When we visit the Vancouver/Portland area, we always stay at the Lewis River Inn. Some of the rooms have a balconies which overlook the river! Just beautiful. Highly recommend."

"Not going to lie, I was a little skeptical about the reviews being so great, but it really is a great facility. Everything was clean and every base was covered. I can totally see why it gets great reviews. If you are going to be in the North Portland area, it is super convenient to Vancouver and Downtown Portland. I'd totally stay here again."
