"Oni no sumika is a beautiful ryokan tucked away in Shuzenji. The staff are all extremely kind and accommodating (they do not speak English, so google translator is a must if you’re foreign and they are quick to use it) The traditional breakfast was great, with many small dishes that leave you satisfied but not full to start your day. If I am in shuzenji again I will be staying here."

"Absolutely loved our stay here! We booked a room with a private onsen and included the dinner and breakfast meal plan. The views were incredible, the food amazing and the staff was very helpful pointing out the laundry facilities and a pedestrian walking path nearby. "Flash hotel with an incredible view! Each place has got a bath tub on the balcony. The rooms are newly renovated and as everyone says they have an open bar and they allow you to take drinks upstairs, didn’t eat at restaurant. Everything closes nearby at 2:30 so I suggest you bite the expensive bullet and get the meal plan. Location is great inbetween dogashima and zojima. Definitely geared for Japanese couples. "The onsen baths were really lovely. The room was beautiful. The staff were so helpful. Only critisism is that is smelled a bit musty, but there was a typhoon outside so that probably wasnt helping"

"The place is remarkable and excellent. We have a room with private onsen and the room can view the ocean from window. It includes one dinner and one breakfast and the food is awesome and fresh. We will recommend this place."
