"This lodging was perfect for visiting the park. Facility was clean, quiet, our room was spacious, & the staff very friendly. They let us know about evening lantern event, and breakfast available for purchase at 9am in a cafe near by. Location in the park is convienent for some travelers without transportation visiting the park. It was a short hike from the bus stop at the museum. "This is a very picturesque traditional family run hotel in a 160 year old Kyoto house. It’s quite an experience to enjoy Gion area - close to all shopping and the famous Geisha area of old Kyoto. Highly recommended."
