"Staffs are wonderful, and Very fluent in English. They go above and beyond to help customers. I am not particularly good at tech. The staffs helped me downloaded, selected right plan for our Hakone free pass. They also make sure we know the time of our bus. Both the indoor, and outdoor hot springs are beautiful. The restaurant, the breakfast, and dinner is both authentic as well as delicious. Everything is an amazing experience. "

"I like the traditional feeling of the inn. The room had lots of space and the staff was super friendly and spoke english. Two point i found negative was the fact that to be able to shower you have to reserve a slot in the osen and also you will have to walk uphill from the train station."

"Very severe, dark and minimalist without the balance of aesthetic views or nature. Shoji screen room had choice of closed interior with very dark mood lighting and black surfaces or open shoji with view of workers at their desk in a neighboring glass tower. I Could not even see the sky on the 9 th floor. The room has no thin shade so workers in other building able to see in room if you have shoui open. The Onsen very comfortable but depressing and tomb like. I kept thinking I was in a Star...

"No other word yo describe this better than the best hotel. Accomodation, facilities, onsen bath on room. Staff is exceptional perfect, polite, helpful. The breakfast is ok, but if you like Japanese food more then it is perfect. Fully recommend this hotel. Will stay again if come back to Hakone."

"I want to start off by saying I had a nice visit, I did the half board option and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Lots of variety, the sushi was not good and their take on Western food isn't great but the Japanese food is awesome. 2 different Onsen areas that alternate gender daily so you can try both. The hotel is old, let's just prepare you for this, really old. It could do with a massive makeover but I doubt it will happen as they are very busy due to the amazing location. If you are...

"We had the most incredible stay here while visiting Hakone. The location is ideal: a 2 min walk from the main train station and right on the river. Waking up to the sound/view of the river is just magical. The team working here is incredibly nice, hospitable and accommodating. We did the half board and the food was delicious and varied. "The property was located close to 2 different train stations (Sudobashi, Iidabashi). Each was less than 10 minutes on foot on opposite directions. The beds were comfortable and the room was a decent size. They provided toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair brush, and other toiletries. The toilet and shower/bath areas were separate. The buffet breakfast was tasty, the only thing is that it’s pretty much the same options every day(good or bad?). The hotel is in a very safe area, with a Family Mart, 7-Eleven, Starbucks, and other dining options across from the hotel. We stayed here twice within our trip to Japan because the price, location, and amenities were great. "
