When shopping for hotels, I chose one that was more expensive because I thought it would just be a better experience. That was not the case for this hotel, unfortunately. No pool, no hot tub, and the hotel room looked poorly constructed.

It was disappointing to arrive and find that the swimming pool was drained and not usable, as we had planned on having that available to use with our grandson. That was not mentioned in the link to the hotel through Expedia. The temperature of our room was way too warm and never cooled down enough for comfortable sleeping even though we turned the heating/cooling unit down to 61°. The lobby with the fireplace was nice, and the breakfast area as well. We were not impressed to find a man, who seemed to be connected to someone working in the kitchen or at the front desk, sleeping at a table in the breakfast area with a hoodie pulled up over his head when we went for breakfast our first morning there.

It is disappointing to see that a place has a pool online and then get there to find it is closed. My kids were ready to enjoy swimming, instead we delved into disappointment. It is my first time staying here and also the last. If I pay for a hotel with a pool I expect to receive what was advertised.

I hated the extra $ charges. The pool was under construction and the Web site didn't show that. We had to a very clean room and the breakfast was very nice. Our room was so hot at 76 degrees, we had to put on the AC to get the temp down to 68. Need more parking. We would stay here again
