"This was my first time to stay in a Ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) and I really like it! The hotel was a bit old but still in good condition. They have indoor & outdoor hotspring pool plus many other facilities for you to enjoy during your stay. Buffet breakfast & dinner both were great too. Free shuttle service available too to pick up from/drop off to Kagaonsen station. Thumb up!"

"My family stayed here for 1 night. We got two rooms. Both rooms were huge with two double beds in each room. I estimate the rooms were 2-3 times the size of a typical Japanese hotel room. The rooms were very clean as was the entire resort building. The onsen experience was good (this is the entire reason you would stay here). There is an in-door and out-door soaking pool. "従業員の方のサービスは非常に良かったです。バイキングも値段を考えれば種類も多く、地域の郷土料理に近いものはおいしかったです。 本館に泊まりましたが、設備が古く機能はしていても、扉の軋みや重みが激しかったり、隣の部屋の声がまる聞こえだったり、空調の強弱がコントロールしにくかったり、相当ストレスを感じました。また、何の臭いかはわかりませんが、部屋は独特の臭いがしました。 交通手段は湯快リゾートの無料送迎バスに限られ、レンタカーが無いと行動は制限されます。特に、チェックアウトの日は乗りたかった送迎バスが満席で、タクシーも捕まらず、相当早く駅に到着する路線バスで移動せざるを得ず、また、路線バスも一番近いバス停の路線は本数が少なく、大人だけならまだしも、子供連れには絶望的な立地です。 行った日はお湯も温度が低く、入っている人のマナーも、騒いだり、ある場所を占領したり、余り良くなかったです。 従業員の方のサービスは非常に良いだけにこのハードウエアのマイナスは相当残念です。"
