"This medieval castle is owned and operated by a private family who do a marvelous job of getting every thing just right. I was quiet overwhelmed by the ambience which is why I added 2 more nights on to the original booking of 4 nights. Also they brew their own beer which I found very good. "Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort sind sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Golfplatz raus und es war wirklich sehr ruhig ab 22 Uhr, sodass man auch mit offenem Fenster schlafen konnte. Das Frühstücksangebot ist nicht ausladend, aber absolut ausreichend. Auch die gebuchte Massage war wirklich sehr gut. "It was not as close to Peenemunde as we would have hoped, but the feeling of the hotel, the grounds, the atmosphere and area were very nice."

"Excellent a la carte breakfast, great atmosphere, very clean, nice staff, great location and easy parking. Much better than 4 star hotels in area. The only thing missing is air condition, in room safe and mini bar. Will definitely stay there again."

"Beautifully located hotel, close to the beach (a few minutes), with very friendly service and a nicely renovated lobby and reception area. The rooms however are quite old and need renovation, bed was really old and uncomfortable, bath room also old. You can almost feel the old times in the corridors... However the nice service and rather good breakfast make up for it. "

"The hotel was having some decoration work doing to it whilst on our visit. The work was contained, but we were welcomed by a lady who was using the hoover and didn’t stop and made us feel in the way! Breakfast: good New TV delivered one day in our room & woke us up as it was programmed with an alarm at midnight! Annoying ! We spoke to room service and the front desk 4 times over 2 days as our air conditioning stopped working. They kept saying they had fixed it & they hadn’t, also annoying....
