The property worked great for my husband and I plus our baby, and both sets of parents. Each couple got their own bathroom which was a requirement for me. This place was perfectly located within 30 minutes to all of the attractions we attended each direction. Would definitely come back!

Great House in a Beautiful Area
Everything was easy and went smoothly from the time of booking through staying and departing. The house is beautiful, was clean, everything worked and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Nearby, Lake Eaton is beautiful with hiking trails and Clark Mountain also with trails and great views. We booked the house for the 2024 Eclipse, and they left eclipse glasses on the counter for us upon arrival - so thoughtful! We hope to come again!

Great property! Well equipped kitchen. Had 3 bedrooms and 3 baths which was perfect for 3 couples.... We each had our own quarters. It was a beautiful quiet wooded location with fire pit. We had a fire one night for roasting marshmallows. Would definitely return. Lots of things to do in the area.

Great, quiet spot
We had a wonderful stay at Oneida Pines! Each couple in our family had their own bedroom and bath, and the two living areas allowed us to come together as a family or branch off on our own when we wanted our own space. Everything was clean and tidy, and the kitchen/dining room was open to allow for a great gathering space to plan our days. The deck was great for relaxing after a day of hiking. We really enjoyed the location—Far enough away from the tourism and craziness, but close enough to go when we wanted. We did have an issue with trash, but hope it was resolved. - All other homes in the area had both a blue and black can, but we only had blue. We had trash out by the date and time notated, but it was never picked up, so we ran out of room quickly! When we checked out, we took the house keys to the office in Lake Placid and informed them that we had bagged everything and placed it in the downstairs closet so that critters wouldn’t get into it and make a mess.

Peaceful, Quiet and Private
We had a great week. The pictures of this property in the posting are a very accurate representation of what you find. The kitchen is large and well stocked with plates, glasses, various utensils, etc. Towels and linens are plentiful. Outdoor furniture is more than adequate. As others have pointed out it would be helpful to have some sort of lighting in the hot tub area. Other than that, no complaints! Lake Placid and Whiteface Mtn. are a short, easy drive away. Two watchouts that have nothing to do with the property itself: - cell phone reception is weak and spotty. If you're depending on Google Maps or a similar app be sure you load your directions before you head out. - the black flies are no joke. Be sure to bring a good insect repellent. 5 Stars - highly recommended.
