Not what we expected

Very small, no closet available, 3 hangers on an etagere. To actually see the ocean you have to go on the balcony and you mostly see parking lot. WiFi issues took up 3 hours of the first night “working” for the host to get it fixed then he blamed my phone! Would not go back.

Atlantic Ocean out your Window

The condo is cute and was perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the balcony to catch some sun, read and watch the sunset. The condo has a nice TV with many apps. Loved the view and the access beach was so easy. The complex is very nice with plenty of parking. The location to other beaches was great! So many restaurants on the same road you did not have to travel far to get great food. All of them have beach access and a great view. The island has so many parks, we visited to the State Park down the street from the condo.

Great location. Great Decor

Arrived early and the property manager replied swiftly and accommodated us. They were professional and quick. The location was boardwalk away from the beach and the decor was perfect.

Enjoyed our stay!

Perfect location! I noticed this specific unit was actually really clean, which is always important to me. The condo for my crew of 4 adults and 3 little ones perfectly. We can’t wait to go back!! P.S. the property manager even checked in to make sure everything was going fine. 1000/10!!

So Nice and Relaxing!

This condo is in the perfect location and the view is incredible! There are many things to do and see on Amelia Island and this location is right in the middle of it all. This little unit is nicely decorated and thoughtfully stocked. Super comfortable beds make for a great night's sleep. Having the Keurig was great to make a quick cup of coffee before getting down to the beach to watch the sun rise! We're grateful for the opportunity to stay in this lovely place! Thank you!

Peaceful Stay

Well apportioned condo with a short walk to beautiful beach. Check out local nature preserve and Fort Clinch. We rented bikes and rode the length of the island on designated trails. Of course great food downtown at any number of venues.

Perfect Spot

This place was darling and exactly as described. It has a lot of nice little added welcome touches like waters, snacks, coffees and candies. The owner reached out to make sure we had everything we needed and offered his assistance with anything we didn't. The location was great with easy access to the beautiful beach. We loved it being right between downtown Fernandina and Amelia Island Plantation. All in all a five star experience.

Nice enough

The unit is decorated nicely and is comfortable, except for lack of closet space. Owners are storing some stuff in the closets which leaves little room to hang your clothes. The main reason for the 4 stars is the unattractive ness of the outside of the units. They need some updating. However inside is nice and comfortable.

Summer Getaway

This property was perfectly described and centrally located to everything! My family and I enjoyed our stay for a summer getaway and we look forward to using this location again. Just steps away from the beach and when you're ready to cool down or take a quick swim, the pool was readily available.

Small but Good

Condo seemed small but over all it was a great location. I do wish the Sand Dollar Villas would add a handicap ramp so it could have easy access for people with hips and knees issues.

Great place for couple or small family

Location and layout of property are great. Pool was nice and boardwalk to the beach was perfect. Very family friendly and comfortable. Condo was not quite as clean in certain areas as I would have loved but I’m very particular so I expected that to the be the case and was no major problem. Pull out sofa was not sleep-able which was a bummer as my kids had not planned on sharing a bed but other than that everything was wonderful. Karl was also so nice and helpful as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach Paradise

Our stay at the Sand Dollar in Amelia was relaxing and absolutely beautiful! Our condo was clean, updated beautifully, and had a great ocean view. The only drawbacks were that check-in was at 4:00. We checked to see if the unit had been cleaned and the cleaning lady was almost finished, so we asked to put our cold things in the fridge. She was very nice and said that we could and she was almost finished. She was fine with us coming up early after she left. As we began loading our things into the elevator another cleaning lady was very rude to us using profanity that we thought we could come in early. We have stayed at the Sand Dollar for many years and have never had a problem checking in early as long as the room was clean. When you are paying over $300.00 a day, you would think this wouldn't be a problem. They have also began building another condo next door and when we sat on the balcony, it was noisy with construction going on and no privacy. Other than that, our trip was amazing.

Perfect beach getaway

Our first visit to Amelia Island was amazing! The condo was comfortable and conveniently located. We had a rental car and barely used any gas because everything was within a few miles - including great restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing. The easy beach access at the condo allowed us to view the sunrise and spend as much time soaking up the sun as possible! All basic amenities were provided, along with some extras.
